Very rarely do I unleash an epic thesis, magnum opus but I just took another bong hit, am on my eight can of Asahi beer and have Sepultura’s album ‘Arise’ on and it has caused my thoughts to be fluid.

In the title, I did not say cognitive dissonance ’causes’ blue pill wallets to idealize pumpkins.

It is the reason why but not the cause. Blue pill men are not walking around suffering from cognitive dissonance and then find a pumpkin or a cupcake.

Most blue pill wallets are intelligent (and productive) and clear thinkers: UNTIL either their hormones, unresolved self esteem issues or societal conditioning puts them in a path to pumpkins and cupcakes. Then the cognitive dissonance sets in.

A multitude of factors cause it (three mentioned prior) including primal sex drive that all men inherently have, testosterone, inherent male (outdated) provider psychology combined with Pumpkin’s aesthetic value, her pheromones and tactical use of the concept of ‘love’.

Then, since a blue pill wallet will at some point inherently invest:

    01-Time
    02-Effort
    03-Energy
    04-Money
    05-Resources

    while simultaneously sacrificing his own:

    X-Life goals
    Y-Dreams
    Z-Aspirations

at the alter of her narcissistic whims and wishes –

It becomes a matter of psychological and emotional survival (of the blue pill wallet) that in order to continue to function and exist in a realm he voluntarily entered that is held together by what would normally appear to be a dramatic dichotomy between what pumpkin is and what he wants her to be – –

He surrenders to a default option of having to convince himself that she is in fact worthy of his resources and sacrifice and significantly unique compared to other women.

Because once so deeply entrenched in a lie that he willingly subjected himself to and became enmeshed with – the alternative to allowing the cognitive dissonance to take over and block out logic and reason is a complete and total collapse of everything that he previously, very slowly, systematically and methodically had come to believe.

In the depths of my cognitive dissonance, I was deeply ingrained into thinking I was “saving” her from a pitiful life… Gave her everything I wanted thinking it would make me be the Hero. Instead it made her unhappy and me miserable. I changed and tried to give her everything she wanted, which led to dissatisfaction the I changed, so I picked it all up, moved the family thousands of miles to start over and rebuild to what she was attracted to, but I thought there was still a chance, I was wrong. I was so swept up in my vision of a marriage I didn’t see that she had no intention of living that life.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

    Gerald:

She wasn’t happy or satisfied because their inherent pathological narcissism causes them to live in a constant state of wanting more, combined with getting ‘more’ (however they define that) then wondering at that point if they could potentially do better.

Cognitive dissonance is believing one thing despite that thing being constantly disproved.
It’s not just your pumpkin in particular, it’s the concept of women in general.
We’re taught to believe that all women are inherently angelic nurturers,,,,and all the examples to the contrary we see all about us every day of our lives are exceptions to the rule.

Many of us eventually accept that all the women in our street are exceptions,,then it’s just the women in our neighborhood, then the women in our town or city, then the women in our state, till we believe that the women in our country are c~~~s,,,yet women from other countries aren’t c~~~s.
Then we take the delusional belief to it’s limits and think it’s just women of our own time.
The moment we realize the true nature of women we see all their behavior as typical. Furthermore, they lose all their mystique and become boringly predictable.

And there lay the difference in how substances affect people differently.

I find pure clarity of focus when I am in the zone.

And the dots start connecting as the pieces of the puzzle fit together.

    It’s a neuro chemical thing.

Now. That only applies to her with me.

When it comes to alot of hard alcohol, specifically Jagermeister, Wild Turkey and Jim Beam, I gradually turn into a human trainwreck, burn bridges and morph into Sky-0 versus the world.

Great post Sky-O and a tribute to both the clarity of oxygen at high altitudes and the cognitive ability to function with a proper level of alcoholic lubricant.

Agreed, everyone wants to believe that they are doing the right thing for the right reason. To do or think otherwise would be admitting that one is fallible. Not allowed by today’s media nor a woman’s desire for resources.

Great post and hope to read more soon. Safe jumps to you!

In the accounting world there is a concept called “sunk cost”. Basically, when you are evaluating what to do now you have to ignore any costs you have already spent on any of the alternatives. You may have to write off those costs if you choose a different path than the one you are currently on. But they don’t factor into the decision of what to do today.

Staying on course because you are deeply entrenched in a lie is giving value to a sunk cost.

Valuing sunk costs keep men trying to make a woman happy.
Valuing sunk costs keep men thinking that things will get better.
Valuing sunk costs is continuing to take the blue pill no matter how much damage it has done.
Valuing sunk costs keep men on the plantation.

Women count on men valuing sunk costs. Going Your Own Way is rejecting sunk costs and trying a new way of investing your time and money.

Thanks! Great post & great responses. An overall great thread.
I may have used the word ” great ‘ a little too much, but I’m in a rare mood myself.
I played the White Knight a lot in my first 40 yrs on the planet. Was convinced I could ” save ‘ women. Almost killedd me.
I don’t believe a thing or take seriously anything a woman says today.
Unfortunately, I have to listen to them on occasion.
Enjoy your day. Have fun the MGTOW way
