The other thing I find interesting about the fact checking is that they will take a big issue, like the emails, and Donald Trump’s claim is false. Then they will take some minor issue and give him a True But Misleading. When he said that people’s insurance was increasing 60% and 70% under Obamacare they came back and said that the “average” was 9%, but that some states were actually going up by 60% and 70%. True But Misleading.

Yeah, well tell people in those states that it’s misleading. But they are probably Republican states so who really cares….

The same people that are so ready to believe the head of the FBI that there was nothing there to charge Hillary are the same people that don’t believe the police when there is a shooting. The FBI said so, so it has to be true. But you can’t trust what the police tell you. Way too many people don’t ever care if they are hypocritical anymore.

My mind’s made up, don’t confuse me with facts.

One thing that is very easy to get blinded by is spin. Those who cover news are supposed to try to be as objective as possible, but such ends up being really difficult, if not impossible to do. Without some personal frame of reference, you can’t order data. Throw in a desire to have the world be as you like, and it is so easy to not cover things accurately, but to your agenda.
