cleaning jobs are riskier for men

Gentlemen,

I just stumbled upon this study. Belgian scientists researched the health risk in the cleaning industry. This is very interesting. No matter the cleaning industry is dominated by female workers the male fatalities are more then three times of the female fatalities. Again, man are the disposable workforce, doing the dangerous work and working with hazardous material.

Indeed we are, but this study was not about such extreme stuff and even at normal cleaning jobs we have a three times higher absolute number of fatalities by about 10% of the workforce.

I really wonder how many women come even close to Fukushima? I don’t wonder how many are actually cleaning up there: Zero.
