Classroom hell

So, two weeks into this math class, we have a group assignment…work with a group of fellow students to get the assignment done. We get the assignment on Monday, download and print and work on it for Tuesday and Wednesday. I had my assignment done, and most of the men had at least 1/3 of the assignment done. I drew three women for my group, two did not download, did not print and none of the three had anything done on their paper. I am finished, these chicks were totally unprepared and inept.

so fing annoyed. They wanted to take pictures of my work with their phones, and then copy it later. lol. Teacher was p~~~ed that I wasn’t sharing my work. strongly suggested that I share with these three. The expectation was that I would roll over. I said no. and then I put my paper away after the teacher went to another group.

I feel for you buddy. I went to university for 6 years and got a graduate degree. I LOVED it at the time and it was a great experience. But times have changed and with all the nonsense on campuses these days I don’t think I could hack it. You are a brave man. I am not sure if you are going out on your own or looking to work at a company but the one positive is that if you work for a company you will have to work with women, likely, at some point and this experience may serve to discharge the frustration a head of time. But I hear ya…they would rather convince a man to do their work for them than learn to do it themselves.

God I hate group projects. They always have the slackers who expect others to pick up the slack. Surprised the teacher wanted you to share. WTF is that! Does the teacher encourage cheating on tests too? You did the right thing and good luck in your studies.

Maybe you should have told the teacher that because women are SOOO SOOO much smarter and stronger and more confident than us lowly men you were embarrassed to show your work compared to their genius.

Next time ask to see the academic integrity policy that should be included in the course syllabus. There should also be a statement clearly stating what the intent of the group sessions are.

Group and coursework favours females and was introduced solely for this reason.

They wanted to take pictures of my work with their phones, and then copy it later.

I saw this at university. C~~~s automatically form a hive. Plagiarism is the norm.

I know one gal who was enrolled in an online degree program at a reasonably well-respected (real) college. She was assigned to write a paper on some person of importance in her field (“criminal justice”, whatever the hell that degree entails). What did she do? Yep, stole large portions from a paper she found online. The college discovered her plagiarism (not really surprising, considering that software exists for this sort of check). Her official defense in the formal answer letter she wrote to the administration: that she “had” to “borrow” material, because she couldn’t find much information on the assigned subject!

In her case, there were some consequences: she was given a failing grade for the class and put on academic probation. The administration threatened to kick her out, but somehow she talked her way out of that.

This occurs because they can copy or get everything done in other way. When I was at university, my course was 1 girl for every 20 guys or less. Most works was done in groups. When there was a girl in the group, guys had been supposed to teach her. I always tried to do anything alone.

Once a time I asked a friend, why did you do this work if she doesn’t do anything?

In the university, there was some kind of status to do a work with some of the 3 girls in the course. I always thought it useless.
