If I was married to a woman who had more money than me, I’d only ask her for child support and my personal belongings after a divorce. I wouldn’t mind signing a prenup either. If I want to leave her, I am able to get a job and support myself. I wouldn’t expect her to write a check to me every month just because I don’t know how to create wealth.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

The Chinese take the long view, planning and acting now with results decades in the future in mind.

Our politicians plan only as far ahead as the next election cycle. Our business leaders plan only as far as their next quarterly profit statements.

The differences are beginning to show.

Its the problem with our society…if you are just a regular middle class working guy you get pooped on by the government, yet they expect you to just happily march along working you ass off like a dimwitted idiot. If you belong to any minority group they want to bend over backwards for you to win your vote.

You hear more about gay rights by the government than you do father’s rights, and there are probably 100x as many dad’s getting f~~~ed over by family courts than there are gay people that actually want to get married.

The way this country is run these days is a complete joke.

That still doesn’t change marriage and the potential loss of the husband.
Marriage is marriage, has always been.

"We are free to follow our own path. There are those who will take that freedom from us, and too many of you gladly give it. But it is our ability to choose – whatever you think is true – that makes us human. There is no book or teacher to give you the answers, to show you the path. Choose your own way! Do not follow me, or anyone else."
