China’s move to boost defense spending has sparked dismay among US officials in recent days, but it is Beijing’s efforts to gain influence that are more worrisome, the secretary of the US Navy said on Wednesday.

China’s finance ministry said this weekend that the country’s defense budget will rise 6% to 1.1 trillion yuan or $173 billion. It is the biggest increase in three years and makes China’s defense budget the world’s second-largest — behind only the US.

It makes me think of WW1. The European powers back then amassed huge armies thinking that no one would dare attack each other. Today we have many multicultural countries who also think that they won’t be attacked because an attack on “us” is an attack on their own. It is just a huge mess and if we did have a full blown war it is going to south very quickly.

China has played the game well.

The globalists were so focused on impoverishing the west, and setting up factories with cheap labor in China that they believed that China would serve them.

China’s communist party has been stringing the globalists along and they are now about ready to impoverish the globalists.

China’s main plan is a two part plan. First, China creates trading routes across the world through investing in various nations to create those trade routes. This is called China’s Silk Road project.

The second part is to use those investments to convince the governments of those nations to allow China to build military and station parts of the China military in those nations. This is called the String of Pearls plan.

While people point out that China’s yuan is weak. They forget that China has been hording gold for the last decade.

Right now, China’s Empire is growing, while the U.S. Empire is declining.

The globalists still believe they can win and have their global world order, but that looks more and more unlikely with each passing day. In the west nationalism is growing to oppose globalism. And in the east the Chinese Dragon is on the match and has already reached the southeastern part of the Middle East.

I am not in favor of Empires.

Empires ride a wild tiger and you have to keep riding because its too dangerous to get off.

Pretty soon you’re riding the tiger thru jungles in SE Asia and mountains in Afghanistan.
