I think if your mom made your dad miserable then she would make you miserable too. Woman who make men unhappy over many years do it out of habit and if he is not around then it will be the closest male family member they can manipulate. It’s what they do.

I have met many men who have been married for 30+ years and once the wife isn’t around they let it out how unhappy they are. Then they say it’s too late to change and are resigned to die unhappy.

If you’re happy now then letting someone else have control of your life is a one way ticket to unhappiness.

If you rescue a damsel in distress, all you will get is a distressed damsel.

Lot has to do where you live. In order to even rent a room where I live you have to work a f~~~ ton at minimum wage which is up to 15 (depending on factors). I work roughly 60 hours a week at a bit above minimum wage, with getting out of debt and paying my truck off quick in mind. Pretty much working 20 hours a week would only work if I lived out of my truck.

My life has changed for the better without having women in it.

I could live for 30% less further inland, but I like living near the coast. I did learn about a butcher shop near the hood that’ll cut a nice Rib Eye Steak slab for a great price.

I’ve always hated working my life away and always questioned men as to why??? I’m a musician and I typically work 6-20hrs a week. Very rarely it can be up to 35. I could never be some workhorse. Its been my theory that the stress of that lifestyle over decades will kill ya!!!

BTW, the girls that used to work behind the bars used to make about $25hr…lived quite nicely.
