Women’s liberation has caused a crackdown on drugs as well. It’s only with more female influence over the past century that it has been made illegal.

Before feminism it was normal to be able to use it when you felt like. Not like “WEED?? GO TO JAIL YOU DIRTY MAN!!” Almost an equal number of females have admitted to smoking weed but what percentage are in jail for it? Not even a fraction of the number of males.

Really? I’d figure that more of these women would WANT weed to be legalized, since they’re so liberal.

Actually this holds some truth, as prohibition was kick started after women were able to vote and Christian old ladies groups were the major push behind banning alcohol. I am not sure how to correlate this to the modern war against Marijuana though. What others have said in this thread sums it up though. A lot of money was to be made and or lost with the war on Marijuana, and that is clearly the reason why it was made illegal. Once again A PRESIDENT HAD A STUDY CONDUCTED THAT CONCLUDED THAT MARIJUANA WAS FOR THE MOST PART BENIGN! And he threw it in the trash and went ahead and made it a schedule 1 drug so that he could lock people up. He was like Jack, unable to face facts.

If alcohol is legal then marijuana should be legal.

    Wait….

You’re the one who wants it legalised, duffus.

It’s for YOU – YOU – to f~~~ing prove it to me, not for me to prove it to you, jack ass.

Not sure why you feel this is a solid arguing point. Should’nt it be up to you to prove it is harmful if you would like to ban it? Also, once again, it has been proven over and over to be mostly benign. Once again, President Nixon had a study done, and his views were like yours, when the study came back and the results were that it was mostly benign he threw away the study and went ahead and made it a schedule 1 drug. Can you even read and comprehend anything I am typing? Cause it sure doesn’t seem like it.

Man, nothing you said in this entire thread makes much sense. I really wonder how old you are and or who you work for.

Im a Libertarian, it should all be legalized.

Who’s the government to tell us what we cant or can put in our bodies when they give us vaccines that cause autism, cancer, and the very disease we were supposedly shielded from.

Thank you too all the men that participated in my survey…It would appear that the majority of users back the legalization movement…That is very good news as I had hoped the brothers in here would back a nearly harmless plant…Of course I am more than certain that there are a few people in the world that have a friend or a relative or someone else they just know that has been devastated by cannabis, I understand their personal beliefs and respect their personal opinions…I also know that there is a certain group of people in this world that can be severely addicted to just about anything, science does not understand this as of yet, but they are getting closer every day to figuring out the particular part of the brain in these people that is just plain broken…Hopefully the next step will be in introducing these addicts into a help program that solves the issues they are facing…No one wants to see a family destroyed by an addict…I have more than one family member with this issue, and sadly, as Lottery said just above, most of them are no longer living, as these people generally weed themselves out by following their addiction straight into the grave, and the effects are life long lasting on those family members still here on earth…Again thank you for participating in my survey, and I truly hope no one’s feelings were hurt by having an opinion that differed from the majority of the group, as that was NEVER my intention…Too divide and conquer is the work of our enemies, not myself or anyone here I hope….

    Hi there Jeremiah,
your post and what followed was the spark for me that it needed to sign up here. I read this post yesterday. I am fully with you and yes cannabis should be legalized everywhere. I´m an experienced user over decades, illegally in my country.
I used to take prescibed opiates as well (Tramadol and Tilidine to be exact) and that stuff is bad news and it gets you hooked. I preferred to replace it with something that does not screw me up and turn me into a junkie. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

All the people here that are so against it, should stop eating sugar (yes it´s a drug too) which is more harmful.. it gives you diabetes.

I know this song. Though no one can ever really understand someone else’s personal experience I too have dealt with similar issues.

Percocet for 4 years as I tried everything to avoid back surgery. It was on and off so as to keep away from any addiction but those 4 years were agony.

The pain was tough at times but the worst was the constant never ending nagging. Its like the kid when you where younger who keeps poking you, on a never ending repeat. I used mj to offset as much as possible and definitely would have been a full blown addict had I not.

Having the ability to escape the pain, temporary as it was, but having to say no and wait was insanely difficult. I was at 10mg a few days a week but towards the end and after surgery it sky rocketed to 120+ a day. Not being able to really stop for a month and half finally did it in. Had to rapid ramp down and deal with it, not fun.

My doctor has known about my use and had no trouble after getting to know me. He wasn’t able to write me a script or letter to get a mj card because the hospital had policy’s in place. In time I’m sure it will change, just will take time.

Between all the crap the pharmaceutical companies push out I’d much rather a plant I can grow, oversee, and cultivate without any interference. Its ridiculous its been illegally for so long. Politics as usual…

If you need a ear to chat about the pain meds / back shoot me a pm. Best of luck.

I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?

I’m a libertarian also. At least in regards to drugs being legalized. Pain killers are far worse than pot will ever be.

I remember getting extensive dental work done before about a couple of years ago. The pain killers they put you on after dental work SUCK MAJOR B~~~~.

I could barely stay awake for more than twenty minutes at a time during that week. The pain killers only made me more drowsy. It made me feel completely s~~~ faced drunk as well.

They also gave me massive diarrhea while making feel nauseous to the point I needed to puke every hour or felt the need to puke.

Weed, on the other hand, doesn’t make you feel anything like that. And it certainly doesn’t cause massive diarrhea. That was the worse. My asshole felt sore for about a week because of it haha.

Glad you did sir and welcome!! It really sucks being addicted to big pharma’s s~~~, I hated it sir…

Between all the crap the pharmaceutical companies push out I’d much rather a plant I can grow, oversee, and cultivate without any interference

Could not agree more sir, hmmm a drug that takes away my soul, prescribed by a Dr., or a plant that grows in soil and leaves you feeling happy, pain free, helps me eat (eating is hard with so much pain), and helps me sleep, (sleep also comes very hard as any position leaves me in pain)

Weed, on the other hand, doesn’t make you feel anything like that. And it certainly doesn’t cause massive diarrhea

Exactly what I was just saying this plant is totally harmless in my mind, when I was without the pills, right away into withdrawals, when I have been without my cannabis flowers, oh that’s right nothing…no choice here at all in my mind….
