My inner male benevolence wants to kick a vial of red pills to a dude at work – but wondering if it’s even worth it. Situation: educated guy, military and college, solid job – late 30,s. Married a post wall land whale, bought the proverbial house in the burbs, baby rabies followed and now he’s a dad. Guy can’t be more than 140 lbs and this blimp looks to be pushing the scales close to 200 – and it can only get worse. She must crush him, assuming they still do it. 70% probability she’ll kick his butt to the curb when she’s ready. His b~~~~ are hanging sadly on her wall and not much chance he’ll get than back. He’s also bit of a bible thumper so he probably is blind to the risk he undertook. Worth a shot talking to him man to man? Or hopeless?

Edit: @jackinov speaks truth: These guys really are more dangerous than their own wives. Let him go his own way, making his own choices as to his path to follow in life. It sounds like he is not a close friend, so you have no obligation to try to save him. He will not let you anyway, not he is good and ready.

Sounds dangerous, he took an oath and will go through hell for her be put through hell by her! He’s the type that dies of old age at 50! He’s committed himself to a crash and burn, nothing anyone can do.
