OK..so I just want to rant about this word…I find it very derogatory and is an insult by feminism on the bond shared by men…They degrade the loyalty and friendship of men to their own level of pettiness by equating brotherhood with romanticism…
I would catch a bullet and die for MY BROTHERS if it meant protecting our sovereignty…The bond shared by men is strong and womean just dont get it. They feel threatened and jealous of it so much so that they invent this term.
I remember when I was a kid that I could walk down the street with my buddy our arm on each others shoulder…Now, the though of skin touching between men has been deemed sexual and an affront to masculinity…I dont know, too much sexism is driving a wedge between men that they are deprived of even manly hugs because it connotes bromance…I think it was manipulated this way so that the only “acceptable” physical contact is with a female which they then use to manipulate man…
I remember the time I was broken down by an ex in an LTR and a buddy of mine saw how broken I was. He just put a hand on my shoulder and I literally broke down after accumulating all the s~~~ from my ex…He didnt say anything, just stood there and understood what I was going through…
I though he was an asshole for the advices he gave but I was too white knight then to realize that he was speaking the truth…I have had no contact with that buddy of mine because my wife slowly manipulated me into isolating myself from my buddies…
It just suck that the camaraderie, friendship, loyalty and brotherhood between men is besmirched by women just because they dont understand it…
Because a woman will never understand it unless they know what it feels like to stand side by side with your brothers in a battlefield and face certain death…Just watching WW 1 documentary and I could see how men fought and died for their brothers who they have just met…Interviews with veterans move me…truly an amazing bond we men can make and these c~~~s degrade it into a negative term….

I stand with feet apart and let my balls hang free...Manginas dont have balls...See how they stand and sit at the whim of their masters...

Thank you for post. You brought an awareness to me of how language is manipulated by the feminazies to degrade & demean men & build themselves up. The lsnguge of the early feminazies proves it. And this whole idea of Bromance is just another perversion of reality & a distortion of the truth of male bonding.
I was on a carrier in the Tonkin Gulf & I felt safer there then in my hone living with an unstable promiscuous alcoholic mother. I learned trust & how to give & earn respect in the military.
I got a little carried away here because the feminists & their male counterparts cannot really grasp the concept of male bonding.

For want of another word…. (this will be a bit rambley)

First off, thanks brother Tunneler. I had never noticed that bitches had this in their shame arsenal.

I get why bromance bothers some folk although I guess its more to do with the manner bitches use it.
I don’t mind it because there are some friendships that are best described as a bromance (for want of a better word).

My favourite part of Atlas Shrugged is the friendship between Francisco and Hank which I have always thought of a true bromance.

I have a number acquaintances but only a small number of real friends, true brothers that I’d take that bullet for. I would not describe these as bromances.

I know I am not an easy person to get on with and when they meet me most people think I am a complete Wanker. I like to think that most who take the time to get to know me change that opinion.

I don’t know about the rest of you but once I hit my 30s I found it odd/difficult making friends (discounting colleagues and customers). A few year ago I met a guy through a shared hobby. I really liked him immediately, he,s just awesome, and I could tell that he also liked me (being often considered a wanker I do notice that and am surprised on said rare occasions).
Bromance might not always cover it. In the early days I would go so far as to say Mancrush was more accurate on my part. But friend or mate certainly did not fit. A bit odd for me being a grown up independent sort of chap.
The thing is that sometimes you need the dial to go up to 11 and I cant think of a man version of BFF.

So the ramble sum up be without a better word to describe what we as men understand bromance to mean then lets stick with it. We are going our own way so lets not let women write the dictionary.

Use it or don’t use it. Unlike women, we go our own way and don’t need to follow the hive rules when deciding what words we are supposed to like.

Yeah I have 2 “bromances”. I love these guys, and I actually consider them more of family than friends. I would take a bullet for these guys. This is a foreign concept to women.

They don’t have to make sacrifices like men. We die off in wars to provide for these women. How do they repay us? By turning against biology, and hating men.
