Probably so. Members of the EU have already come out condemning the whole thing. Felipe better watch it though, or he may get paraded in front of the guillotine.

No, european politicians are pussies and they are standing behind Crown of Castille, because Catalonia can cause domino effect – Basks, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Flanders, Northern Italy, etc.

Also i don’t agree with one-sided war. Guerrilla warfare is lost for Spain unless they are prepared to slip into total totalitarian rule and face expulsion from EU, UN, OECD, etc.

The choices we make, not the chances we take, determine our destiny

If they don’t give those Catalans what they want they’re gonna see what illegal and undemocratic means.

Implacable Spanish resistance played a key role in the downfall of another euro-empire – that of Napoleon.

Just for once, it would be nice to think that history will repeat itself.

It does and always in grander proportions with more death and destruction.
I’m not jumping with glee like Carnage for I believe never rejoice in the misery of others but he might get what he’s jumping for and at this point I’m not sad either.
The whole idea of a Europe United was usurped long ago. Now it’s just a sad-looking shadow of its former self. Time to put it out of its misery.

Kennedy said those that make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable. And the Spanish fought a civil war less than 80 years ago–they can do it again.

Although I don’t share carnage’s zeal for bloodlust it should be remembered that liberty is never a gift—it must be earned.

And the people said unto the king, SIC SEMPER TYRANUS.

When you are at the top you can only go down. When you are at the bottom, you can only go up.

    Thus always to tyrants.

One of my students asked me what Booth meant by “sic semper tyrannis,” so I translated it. Then she said, “But Lincoln wasn’t a tyrant!”

I could’ve sworn you could hear crickets chirping while I was trying to think of an answer that wouldn’t get me fired.

I feel an overthrow of government coming soon for those folks over there.

The lesson unfolding is about what happens when an unarmed population demands something and they learn the true face of government.

The King of Spain is going to sent in the Spanish military to crush the populations of Catalonia. Without firearms on the part of the Catalonia populations they will not put up much of a resistance.

The governments of Europe will support these actions by the King of Spain because edicts and treaties in Europe only protect government officials and officers of the military. The edicts and treaties of Europe do not protect civilians and military grunts.

that is EXACTLY what I have been posting on the daily mail about all the fools talking about gun bans…guns in the hands of the people stop governments from putting them under the jackboot

no one listens though because the left have managed to make this into an emotional issue – a “think of the kids” type thing which means people just put their fingers in their ears

I hope the Spanish military does go into Catalonia – it might wake a few people up in Britain to how the Conservative Government is currently screwing us over with no Brexit
