I left a job at a 100M dollars company, to a small 20 employees company, because I couldn’t stand the type of work I was doing there, and the whole corporate system itself.

It’s so weird, you go from being in a huge office, get all kinds of treats and having the best equipment to a small office, with no coffee maker and not even a single woman lol.
I earn the same money, and I’ll have plenty of control over what I am doing because they hired me to innovate, not to do bulls~~~, yet… I am used to companies larger than that, which are more stable.

oh well perhaps in 2,3 years I’ll go back to large corporations , in the meanwhile I’ll do what contributes to my profession

Follow your heart mate, if the company grows you could be in a great position.

Can’t and won’t be charged with sexual harassment by some feminist jockeying for position, they don’t contribute for advancements they connive!

Brother, I’ve heard countless stories here of fellow Men abandoning money for the sake of sanity – each one has done well.

While it’s not an option available to everyone, cutting your stress levels in your day-to-day life now will do wonders for you in the future.

Best of luck! Don’t let that power get to your head!

I say smart and logical move. What good is the money if you cannot be happy with your life.

I agree with what’s been said.
As I have grown older I find my happiness and sanity correlates with the number people I have to deal with each day. The fear the people the happier I am. And saner.

What you are describing Freedom sounds great and a good move.

I have found that your work-place happiness depends a lot on who you work with and the stimulation/type of the work. Generally, bigger organisations are worse and you tend to be more valued in smaller companies, all things being equal.

You say you are making the same money and have more control and less stress. So what’s the con?

Less treat? Do you really need them?
Less state of the art equipment?
    Will that stop your work?
    Stability?
When the company goes under you can join the big companies, so will that be a problem?
    No women?
As a MGTOW won’t that be a pro?

    Are you trying to brag?

There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.

Gnostic and the others are spot on here.

Is a Keurig machine and free donuts really worth the river of s~~~ you had to put up with?

Earning the same money and having control over what you’re doing? I’d say that constitutes winning big-time. I wouldn’t worry too much over whether your new employer may be less stable than your old one due to its smaller size… I’ve seen big companies crash and burn, just as I’ve seen small ones fail. I think you made the right choice.

Smaller companies are often better in many ways that the multinationals.

I have worked for both big and small-prefer small everytime.

Currnetly wokr fo a company employing 60 people turnover of £15million in business for 5 and a half years.

As long as tehy pay you every month you don’t miss teh corporate coffe machine and certainly not teh other bulls~~~

Thanks guys, I really needed that.

I am just a bit worried because there is a lot on my shoulder with this new company, I’m going to manage a large proportion of the infrastructure of the entire system, change a lot of s~~~ and even though I’m excited, I’m hoping all this effort will not be futile.

I tell you that, it took some b~~~~ to leave my corporate boring job for this, do you think it’s part of my MGTOW transformation? lol

I’ve worked at close to 30 different places (counting temp gigs) – from Fortune 200 to a handful of people.
My rules of thumb for best company size are such:
    1) If it has an HR department – there will be s~~~ and suffering, stupid rules and hoops to jump through.
    2) If you can’t talk to the boss directly to sort out any issues – it will be a s~~~ show – no more than one level of hierarchy.
Ideal company size IMO- is one person – me. But I’m not there yet. Right now working for a 15 person company where there’s no HR, I can call boss any time, but I don’t see him more than once a week. And there are no random pee tests (very important for me)
