I was a Brainwashed Liberal/Socialist in my 20’s.

That being said, as I attened some of the Meetings and Demo’s a small voice in the back of my mind was saying “This is Bulls~~~”.

I was only going along with the left wing crowd as the right wing crowd were nowhere to be seen, or looked like old fashioned Men and ladies clinging to a “Glorious Past” of what used to be England.

I also had an extremely Left wing Feminist girlfriend who I idolized for being so “Different” from the other girls I knew.

Also at the time I was either in low paid dead end jobs, or unemployed and the left seemed to offer an easy way to level up to a better life.

Eventually towards my late 20’s I became increasingly resentful of the hypocracy of the Left. I noticed that the big leaders were all doing “very nicely thank you” making a good living on the backs of the people they were supposed to represent, while at the same time sending thier kids to elite schools that would allow them access to the rulling class they claimed to oppose.

I saw former leftwing students graduate and enter the professions and drop thier politics in a heartbeat. My girlfriend did this as well.

I realised that I had been sold a lie, the Revolution would never come, and those calling for it (to look compassionate and cool), were all the time securing thier own futures in the Capitalist system.

I think the old saying “If you’re not a Liberal in your 20’s you got no heart, If you’re still a Liberal in your 30’s you got no brain“, rings true.

There came a time in my early 30’s when I stopped smoking dope and thinking I had all the answers. Stopped listening to people who claimed to speak for me, and realised that the only person who was going to make my life better was me.

Eventually you have to grow up. Most idealistic kids do in the end.

However, even at my most deluded phase, I could tell the difference between Friend or Foe.

This modern batch of Left wing SJW’s remind me of 1970’s religious Cult victims.

If Corbyn gets elected, which he may well do, then these stupid f~~~ers will actually have a say on how the country is run.

Although I know America has it’s own problems, I must admit the idea of relocating to a “Red State” looks more appealing by the day.
