I don’t know what happened to this world that for some reason people are completely incapable of taking any criticism whatsoever anymore without crying wolf and running off to their safe space. If your opinion is not shared by anyone in a particular space you are either in the wrong space or you just need to take a look at your opinion. If after careful consideration you are happy with your opinion then stand by it and deal with the criticism. If you cannot critically evaluate your opinion then it is you who has the problem not everyone else.

Additionally there is no such thing as an ex-mgtow. You’re either going your own way or you were never on the path of going your own way in the first place.

I think that’s a worthy discussion for a separate thread. I am sure it’s possible to ignore the reality of things, but then you’re just willfully ignoring something that is obvious post red-pill. Millions of people ignore reality but it stands to reason that once you see the light that it’d be significantly harder to go back to living the dream.

Considering how harsh reality is sometimes the ‘dream’ may be preferred… but I don’t think you can ‘un-swallow’ the red pill, you’re just trying to check out of reality and that’s at best temporary.

I had a Russian language teacher who taught me French. Probably one of the smartest people I ever met , and one class I will never forget was on “criticism”. I was 15. I actually criticized what the teacher was trying to teach us…. and then I appended with apology for doing that because I didn’t want to fail or get kicked out.

Other students actually “TSK”-ed me and told me to shush.

The teacher stopped the class and said “criticism” is a GOOD thing. it has to be embraced and willingly encouraged. Because if you don’t challenge a concept, you can’t arrive at the NEXT great concept.

Only people in the big leagues can handle and welcome criticism.
It means you’re being treated like a PEER.
It’s the perfect opportunity to earn “respect”.

A teacher – who had all the authority to squash me – actually told me to lay it all out so we could examine it. When someone “can’t handle” criticism or lashes out in response to it, it’s a blatant admission of inferiority.
