Boys in Women's Restrooms

There was a “lovely” news article out today that I thought you guys would get a good laugh at.

Boys over 6 are told to use the men’s restroom, and not go in the women’s with their mother.

Mothers galore are commenting on this page (among others), saying “I’ll take my son into the women’s bathroom if I want!”, and “because any man could be a potential child molestor, I’m going to do what I can to protect my kid!”

So, as we all know, the world sees every man as a potential child molester, while women are perfect little angels.  Isn’t that cute?

I saw signs like that 20 years ago – at the local pool complex. As kids we used the local pool change rooms and didn’t even worry about the older men in the room, we didn’t even think they could be malicious, nor did anything bad ever happen to any of us.

I refuse to go in such places anymore, it’s just too much of a risk, all it takes is one malicious child to say they were touched or something and you’re going out of there in a police car regardless of whether you did anything or not.
