    Folks, things will not change unless we force THEM to change. By not giving them your hard earned money will force them to do something different. DISH TV, and Direct TV had commercials showing husbands as buffoons who don’t know how to operate electronics. I have since done away with Cable and I only have Netflix. The complete list is here:

    If you notice a company participate in male bashing please post them here. Be sure to name the specific place and date of the event. If it is a commercial please provide proof of it. Let’s not be like females and not provide evidence. This will further solidify our position.

    If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.

    I’m 100% behind this. Go for it! BTW, I have actually sent letters, by US Mail First Class, to CEOs of companies that do these things. BBTW, I don’t get a lot of acknowledgement back. They don’t get my money either.

    Edit: All cable and satellite TV subscribers subsidize these companies — just because you pay your monthly bill. They get a cut. 1st, I don’t buy the products in the offending ads. 2nd, I do not subscribe to cable/satellite.

    A happy side benefit is I have about $100/month savings to blow on DVDs, books, booze, and dog food. Win-win!

    I’m for it. I dumped Dish and relish the fact that they and Comcast send me mailings nearly everyday trying to get me back wasting their money.

    looks like a lot more just made my s~~~ list and got flushed.

    I don’t limit it to just advertising though. I boycott high street retailer ‘Wilko’ in the UK because they only support women’s charities and only female victims of DV.

    The ‘submit a story’ function on the site didn’t work, anyone else have the same problem?
