I found an interesting idea on the internet that would surely have a very big impact on our cause.
Boycotting companies, businesses and media that use man-shaming and man-hating in their advertising or reporting
WE MEN are still 50 percent of the population. And it’s time to show our might to everyone putting us down.
We have to put up a „sticky“ thread here in this forum – in which everyone of us can post evivdence and information on „which company does what“.
If we can stop man shaming via pressure on businesses, WE WILL SURELY make a difference in the decisions of TV programmers.
This was a big part of our problem in the first place: They catered their movies, sitcoms and reality shows towards women as their main audience. Of course: With man shaming all over to boost popularity among their “target group”.
And most radio-channels are also meant to be „listened to in the office or in the kitchen“ – by women. This way „man shaming advertising“ brought them many „happy female“ listeners.
…And made „beating on us“ in front of a mass audience a casual and widely accepted thing in everyday life…
BUT – when there will suddenly come a time when advertisers will get „disenchanted“ when „their spot“ is run in the „time-vicinity“ of a man-hating or man-shaming show…
I guess that risk will make advertisers and media companies rethink their policies, by avoiding this hot topic in order NOT to lose the other 50 percent of their potential buyers.
We men put up with this far too long, and that is why the media has gotten away with it for decades.
We need to collect and display openly names of offending companies on this forum – so all of us can fight back efficiently.
After that, more and more sane advertisers will then put their „neutral“ radio- and TV-spots in programs and transmissions NOT offending men…
Because we are still 50 percent of the population. And we do make a difference!
Companies would no longer risk that loss for a kinky and stupid TV- or radio-commercial.
Always remember: WE are the wallets.
And many MGTOW men have „good and full wallets“ because of „no money eating monster“ at home.
We don’t base our buying decisions on a giggling female anymore!

You are absolutely right. And what you say fills a book all by itself.
It is our MGTOW attitude: Leave the crap to the mainstream. But I think that a real MGTOW already tries his best at avoiding bad products.
My idea is to hit these people “where it hurts” and to get noticed with a sledgehammer. And that is the sales department of big companies getting “weak in the knees” when 50 percent of potential buyers get turned off by their man- hating advertising campaigns.

Emotional advertisements don’t effect me because I’m a man. Advertisers target women because women will nag men to spend money on the product advertised.
For an example of this type of advertisement not working on men. Look at.the AXE colonge debacle. Females did not start having sex with males en masse because they smelled like AXE. The fragrance became a joke when males raised by single mothers started smelling like that crap and it became a joke in the schools and the brand AXE started losing money. The company stopped targeting males.the same way women are effected after that

Just get a scale, but one that does at least 200 Kg. And be glad not to get it busted to pieces.
Right, avoiding these products will boost your health. At least on a statistical level. Do no eat what the “western woman” eats and you will not “explode” like they do. Germany is right behind the english-speaking world in matters of obesity.
For my part, only 3 to 5 percent of all products I see in the supermarket shelves are eatable anyway…
And the cosmectics that they sell are as toxic as pesticides… And cause obesity… That will be another big book…

But what happens if this “wife naggs husband” system starts to fail?
Right now 85 percent of all buying decisions are still made by the housewife. But what if the marriage rate drops further and “the big wallets” are no longer under female control?

It was a large issue in my childhood and I was turned off by the fact that my few encouters with actual girlfriends turned out to be just the same. That is surely not the only reason why I never got married. I saw myself “time traveled right into the crazyness of my childhood” whenever I had NAWALT-feelings and tried to become friends with a woman later in life.
SO: AWALT is what I experienced. Not by belief, but by experience.
“Land whales” is one of the words I learned just a few days ago. But even before that I could guess well what it might mean. Here in Europe the land whales are not yet as big as in America, but we follow right in your footsteps. I have many indications that this by itself will lead to a drastic reduction in population in the near future. This is the way bad things always come back to the perpetrators.
Like the hunter stepping into his own trap… Women are so self centered that nothing can be done to change their behavior in any way. So even if something that they are doing hurts themselves they will still fight against logic reasoning “till the end” just to keep doing what they want.
A land whale will never see that she has to act on her “false behavior” and change something for the better. So, let them eat until they detonate. They will eventually become landmines.
Women don’t see by themselves what they are doing wrong with us men and so we walk. At least we are self-critical enough to see what is hurting us and we take action. That’s what makes us men…
So here is why I think that a boycott – or at least the widely pubicised threat of these measures – can have an effect:
I am a business owner myself. And I was faced with my products appealing to men and at the same time being widely disappoved by women. Antenna and satellite systems, large TV set and stereo systems are something that you have to smuggle inside a house with a women in it.
It required “ultra super-duper trained” skills as a salesman to get people to give me work. Pleasing the technological needs of men while getting the appoval from their wives… Walking on eggshells is easier than that. It’s like balancing a cup full of nitro-glycerine while walking through the forest…
One false word at the wrong time would have ruined the customers order.
If I had engaged in any type of polarization or prejudice: Gender, race, political views… whatever… would have destroyed my business. I had to be friends with everybody or die.
So if companies see that we get offended by their advertising, we might make a difference.And if women will start to realize that there is a reson why “no man wants them anymore” then the man-shaming scheme will eventually wear off.
Well for the time being, MGTOW is the only effective way of moving around what seems unmovable.
It reminds me of the big workers’ strikes bringing big companies and whole countries to thier knees. We had a big strike of our municipal workers some 25 years ago and you could see the garbage pile up… I was emotionally with them and thought it was funny, and it made me see that strikes really do work. We had to put the “dirty” bags in our “clean” car and drive them to a dumping ground. That made poeple see what these workers are really doing, how hard they work for their pay and since then “the garbage men” have a better social standing here in Germany.
We now silently force women to take care of themselves. And thus they see how hard we work to make the money they spend…
And another thing: If you yell and scream at someone 24/7 you normally would want that person “out of your life” right? So we take them at face value and leave.
This is the “core honesty” and straightforwardness that always made me exit a toxic relationship. Answer: If I am so bad that you have to criticise me all the time, then go to a man that you don’t have to criticise all the time…
(Common sense, because there are millions of men out there that are wealthy, good looking, educated… And are especially interested in meeting that “special” high-maintanance 300 pound land whale… cheers!…)
If I – as a man – would yell at anyone in any situation people would also “take my word for it” and get rid of me in some way.

Yes, I don’t buy anything “just because of adverising” alone. But in everday life we sometimes stand in front of a supermarket shelf just getting what we need but having to choose what we buy. And then we try to choose man-friendly brands…

15 K members in such a short time… Multiply that with 100… comes out to 1.5 Million… I guess that is still only “the tip of the iceberg”.But MGTOW men seem to have the biggest wallets. And 1,5 million “upper class” wallets are more significant than 50 million “normal income” wallets that wouldn’t have any extra money to spend on luxury items anyway…
