I was in the scouts back in the day and there was very little to be learned there that my dad and grandpa hadn’t already taught me years earlier. when they started given you badges and s~~~, you would have to take them to your mommy to get them sewn on to your uniform.

Boy Scouts used to prepare boys for the military and for being leaders in society.  Now it is an over-estrogenated, environmentalist , pro-gay, club for the rich.  Don’t get me wrong, all of these groups have their place.  But young men need to cut down trees, kill and skin and eat critters, learn to throw a knife-hatchet-axe-atlatl, shoot guns, build fires, and learn the survival skills to become men.  Today, they no longer get off the improved trail, don’t build camp fires and rarely do anything with any real risk, because of the liability.  It takes at least one adult volunteer for each scout in every troop and costs about $2,000 per scout per year for fees uniforms summer camp, gear, etc.  Hell, I can do a lot for that money besides send my kid on a couple of weekend campouts and a summer camp!?!  Then you have the homosexual agenda which recently changed the scout oath.  “Mentally straight” used to mean that there was to be no buggery in the ranks, today it means that everyone is encouraged to express their sexuality.  This sounds fair until you realize that gay scouts can be actively gay and your kid may have to share a tent or a shower with one of these buggers!  Would you let your 12 year old daughter sleep and shower with a 17 year old male that has been given permission to openly express his sexual desires?!?  I predict that the Boy Scouts will no longer exist by 2025.

Im an Eagle scout and i was in boy scouts before and after they let gays in. The recent policy that had an affect on me is the ban on hazing in boy scouts. That makes it a lot harder to teach new scouts and build their character.

Just saw this, Apparently the boy scouts are banning watergun fights for “Safety” reasons, The pussification continues.

“Water guns and rubber band guns must only be used to shoot at targets, and eye protection must be worn,” reads page 99 of the 2015 Boy Scout handbook.
