Congratulations to the winners of the Boston Marathon.

Yuki Kawauchi (Japan) won the men’s competition, and Desiree Linden (USA) won the women’s competition of the 2018 Boston Marathon. An American woman hasn’t won this race since 1985, so Desiree is going to get a lot of praise. When I read the article about her victory today, it reminded me of this silly event:

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was β€˜No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

Get back to me when a female beats a man in…. anything.

They want equality, let’s have it. We won’t see any women in top tier sport.

If there was a whining competition….
