Despite the facts and logic he kept throwing at her she was still able to mask her c~~~ery with ridicule and shaming tactics that are totally acceptable when women deal with men, even in a public debate.

Or another way to look at is, that she moved in with him to freeload so she could sit on her arse and not have to work. So, she should have to pay money to him for financially abusing him. The fact that he broke it off speaks for itself that she most have been behaving crazy and it’s common knowledge women get PMT and act nuts. An engagement is not a contract. It’s not binding to get married and shouldn’t be. If she turns out to be crazy, a man is free to break it off and say goodbye to crazy.

I would have liked to have heard his side of the story. She kept going on that his method of leaving her justified this. How he left is irrelevant. Mabey she was violent and he didn’t feel like getting stabbed or shot.

Lawyers are worried and looking for new revenue streams to tap into. How many lawyers gonna’ go outa’ business if no marriages and so no divorces to exploit? As an old guy I’ve had time to see things how they are. I think the young guys are gonna’ suss this out a lot quicker than I did. It’s a crying shame we can’t trust women not to cheat and rip us off anymore. I know they always had that option but not to the extent that we see today. With social media presenting so many tempting options for them on a daily basis how does a young guy expect his woman to be faithful? Just assume that they all will cheat and trade up and away from you and protect your wealth and sanity. Intresting to see how this plays out in the next decade.

Once upon a time, back when we had a justice system and every moron who couldn’t get into something better didn’t go to law school, courts in their decisions used to look at this little thing called societal effects of a decision.

That is, what is the effect on society likely to be of this decision? More specifically, does this set a precedent that is likely to have a fantastically adverse effect on society.

Declining marriage rate. Declining birth rates in the West (and those rates get caught up real quick when Mrs. Baja or Mrs. Rabat moves here and decides to stop making babies and instead live off of Pedro or Abdul post-divorce).

So now we’re going to strongly discourage males even from getting engaged, because it might be an alimony- or support- type event.

Sure, that won’t effect the marriage and birth rates.
