Hey Jan, I think he’s preoccupied with getting his life back together. Years ago I had a friend that lost everything in a mill fire, antique cars, fabricating machinery, everything was in the basement looking at the sky, whereas the day before there was 5 floors above him. It was arson as two dips~~~s lit a diversionary fire so they could rob a jewelry store. Even a 16″ thick 12ft diamond plate shier was warped from the intense heat that burned all night into the next morning.
I have at least 10 fire extinguishers spread out in every shed and on every floor, along with an industrial fire pump down by the stream.

If you own a gas can make sure you own fire extinguishers, I saved this place from going up when my truck was dripping/pouring gas that ignited from welding spark, I spent a good 5 minutes spraying it and cooling it with a hose before I ran for an extinguisher, it was out within seconds! It only bubbled a little paint in the bed.

My only insurance is safety and a fire extinguisher, Insurance companies work with fire Marshalls to gain arson convictions wherever they can.

We pay insurance first, then lawyers to prove our innocence (that’s if all goes well), if not we pay insurance, lawyers, and spend years in prison for something we didn’t do.

I’d rather take my chances and loose everything but my freedom.
