I had to go out to release a mouse today. I use those catch and release mouse traps, then I take the mouse to the woods and let it out. Since I live in the city, the woods are a ways away. I saw the parking lots. They weren’t anywhere near as full as they were last Black Friday. I think people are catching on to the fact that Black Friday is BS. Either that or no one has any money anymore.

I think they realized its just easier to buy s~~~ online. Don’t have to wake up early or deal with the crowds. From what I’ve heard around here as well a lot of stores advertise a few awesome sales just to have 1000 people show up hoping to get the deal and only the first 20 get it because that’s all they have in stock, and no rain checks, so a lot of it was more or less false advertising to begin with.

Black Friday and Christmas. Loads and loads and LOADS of adverts and mass media propaganda “informing” us mere mortals about the fantastic value bargains that abound from various retailers.

“Save money today, this xyz t~~~ tickler reduced….saving you money”.

No thanks. I can do better than save a couple of notes on the xyz whatever product. I just won’t bother buying it. Or any other item I don’t need.
