I left the forums about a couple of years ago. Too many politically correct assholes were on the forums. I got harassed for saying “unacceptable” words like “gayer” and talking about politics in general.

And honestly, I got less interested in BioWare games after Mass Effect 2, the era before they fell in to EA’s greedy business tactics and social justice warriors.

What are your thoughts on BioWare at this point? Just curious. From what I’m hearing, comparing Dragon Age: Inquisition to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Wild Hunt is better by a longshot because it didn’t pander to people and sacrifice story, along with countless other things. That’s why I’m keeping tabs on news from CD Projekt RED.

Baldur’s Gate II was the last game Bioware made that I give a s~~~ about. Neverwinter Nights was the beginning of the end. A game hyped so much and failed so hard. This is when I told myself I will never preorder anything else again or believe any hype about a game until it has been out for months and people I know recommend it. Just looking at Dragon Age: Origins makes me cringe with its terrible encounters, s~~~ty combat, and boring ass dialogue.

BSN is a cesspit and a cesspool of liberal progressive SJW borg collective who are all about petty things like romances and sexuality and what have you. Tis’ best to ignore the site.

As for Bioware, it will soon by outclassed and made irrelevant by companies like Bethesda and CDPR.

I was just reading about an upcoming video game based on the life of a hunter and warrior in the Ice Age about eleven-thousand years ago. Now, I can’t find the URL anymore. It could be good; stay tuned.

Still love em! But I am not on the forums. Witcher 3 is better than dragon age inquisition IMO though.

Witcher 3 is easily better than DA, EA suck b~~~~, CPDR released tons of free DLC and even a free music CD with W3. After all that romance bulls~~~ in DA I went full MGTOW in W3, lol. Sorry Yenn, you’re gonna have to ride the unicorn solo love.

And Ubisoft will never see a single penny from me ever again.

Well, I usually get my games through Steam if I can. There are some companies I keep away from, like Ubisoft.

    What do I get?

Bethesda – Fallout 4 (and the other Fallout games, some bugs in FO3 and FNV, but I hope FO4 will be less bug-ridden)
IO Entertainment – Hitman series (few, or no, bugs)
Rockstar – Max Payne (though after Max Pay 3, I don’t think I’ll get another one. Max Payne 2 was the best.)
BW – SW:TOR (MMO, playing it daily, being a GM)
Valve – Half Life games, Team Fortress 2, Portal and Portal 2 (Valve are pretty good and develop games with very few, if any, bugs)

I usually keep away from too linear games as they bore me. Open world games are more my style, so the new Hitman and Fallout game seems very promising. Valve got me into gaming with HL2, which I consider the best game ever, still thinking that. Portal was extremely innovative and fun. Portal 2 has Co-Op, but it isn’t necessary to complete the game. TF2 (the one Turd Flinging Monkey at Youtube plays) is the comedy of team-based games, and it’s always fun.

Other than that, I try puzzle games, like the Broken Sword-series, the last one released this year is definitely something to try, highly recommended.

To me the truly last good bioware game was Dragon Age Origins as that was made before EA took over. I was excited for Dragon Age Inquisition because I loved Dragon Age Origins and 2 felt like it being rushed hurt it a lot. Inquisition wasn’t bad and I liked how the world was bigger, but it just didn’t have that epic feel as Origins and even 2. You can tell Origins was their last true pre EA game because that game was built only for PC. I had it on ps3 first and the controls do not translate well on console. To me the console version was boring to play. Mass Effect 2 reeks of trying to be a third person shooter instead of an RPG. Dragon Age 2 was rushed as Origins sold very well yet bioware never planned on making a sequel, and while Mass Effect 3 brought back more RPG elements and had its good moments there were somethings that could have been handled better and then there was the whole ending issue. Inquisition wasn’t bad and I like how the world is bigger, but there is something about it that makes it not as good as the first 2. It does feel like bioware tried to pander with the characters and many aren’t as likable as the cast from the first 2 games. Also while the story was more of the “Save the world” it just wasn’t as captivating as Origins. I haven’t played the Witcher 3 yet as my lap top can’t play it and since I prefer to play games on PC and I have the first 2 on PC I am waiting until I get a new PC to play it instead of getting it on ps4.

Overall I look forward to Mass Effect 4, but the old bioware is gone. Gone are the RPG’ like Boulders gate, KOTOR, NWN, Origins, and even Mass Effect 1.
