Former federal Conservative MP Maxime Bernier will be leaving the Federal Conservative Party of Canada and will be forming a new federal party. Bernier has been harshly criticized in the media for his recent pro-Canadian comments. He feels that immigration in Canada has gotten out of control and that there needs to be more encouragement reference assimilation and less emphasis on diversity. He feels that Canada is becoming too diverse.

This is very big news for true Canadians. We won’t beat Turdeau in the next election but we at least now have our voice back in politics…

    I certainly hope so too!

Any chance of beating Turdeau in the next federal election (October 2019) was lost when Bernier lost the federal Conservative leadership race to Andrew Scheer so splitting the Conservative vote makes no difference at this stage. Scheer is not a true Conservative anyway and Bernier (except for the French dairy farmers) would have given us Quebec on our side.

Turdeau is guaranteed to win the next election now that the Conservative vote is split. But his win was pretty much a sure thing anyway with Andrew Scheer leading the Conservatives. With Bernier leading a new right wing federal party, true Canadians now have a hope of beating the Turd in the 2023 federal election. And that’s more hope than we had yesterday…

He feels that Canada is becoming too diverse.

Lesser minds would see this in light of race/color/cultures, etc.

However, the real issue is a myriad of nationalities that each start imposing their own version of the right way to live – s~~~ting on the ideals of the home country that expects them to assimilate.

Plenty of areas in Canada that seems so ‘ethnically washed out’ that you’d have hard time believing you are in a 80% majority white nation.

First generation immigrations should only have one purpose in mind – that is to work hard and elevate their socio-economic status at par with natives of the land. In due time their own children can reap the benefits of having hard working parents.

But immigrants aren’t what they used to be. Now everyone is a victim for the virtue of born non-white and without a silver spoon in their mouths.

At the very least I suspect Trudeau gets a minority government. I think he is wearing out his welcome and we may even see a new PM. Keep optimistic.

Westerners are the ONLY ones who are vilified as being ‘racist’ for wanting to preserve and maintain their own identity and culture in their own country. And it’s others Westerners who are doing the vilification. If diversity is so magnificent, why is it that it’s only the Western national leaders who are preaching it???

The next federal election is just a little over one year away and Bernier will likely be supported by Manitoba and Saskatchewan and will definitely be supported by Alberta and Quebec. If you want to be a Canadian Prime Minister, you had better win Quebec. If you can’t win Quebec then you had better win everyone else.

Realistically though, a Liberal minority federal government might be the best that we can hope for in the next federal election. With today’s news, some are already saying that Bernier will beat Scheer in 2019.

Bernier is giving us hope for Canada’s future and I’ll take that. Just a little hope will do for now…

This will splinter the conservative vote, much like the old reform party did. That resulted in years of Chretien in power. I liked Chretien. I don’t like Trudeau. Splintering conservative voters helps Chretien.

People are blatantly ignoring the tactical scenario of Max taking Quebec from the liberals.
Regardless of what ever he calls “his” new party it will be a conservative leaning party. The western provinces will go conservative except for victoria/vancouver/burnaby, the maritimes will go with the whom ever offers the most handouts, Quebec will go with Max’s party, aside from taranta and Ottawa, Ontario will go conservative. All Max has to do is employ the standard Quebec ploy of offering to support the new government in order to retain its special privileges and presto, say goodbye to the current set of f~~~tards occupying parliament.
    Then surprise…
Both the elected government AND its “opposition” are both conservative leaning.

I abhor having to split the Conservative vote but Turdeau will win the next election anyway. Scheer would not have beat him. Scheer has been a lame duck all along.

Bernier is doing what needs to be done. Whether he fails or succeeds at forming a viable and competitive right wing party, we need to know how many ‘real’ Canadians are truly left in Canada. If Bernier is successful, it will give us hope that someday we may have our Canada back again. If Bernier fails, then we’ll know for certain that our Canada is gone and will never be coming back. If the latter is indeed the case then there will be no further reason to be ‘crying over spilt milk’. Splitting the vote is unfortunately the only way that we’ll know for sure…

Getting Quebec to vote Conservative federally will be a colossal victory for us and I think Bernier can pull this off! Quebecois love to have Canadian Prime Ministers from their own province. Watch the next provincial election this coming October in Quebec too. They are saying that the right leaning Coaltion Avenir Quebec party has a real shot at winning. If that happens, we’ll have conservative provincial governments all the way from Quebec to Alberta this time next year…

    Ontario will go conservative

Ontario is the wild card and I can’t get my hopes up too high on this. Ontario has a history of voting Conservative provincially and Liberal federally… 🙁

Auto what about the NDP how certain is it for them winning the next election or the future ones for that matter.

The federal NDP is a contender but they are currently not all that strong. But it’s politics so who knows what could happen in one year from now. The NDP will likely be increasing their chances in the coming years. They are the ones who will be siphoning the votes of the disenchanted Liberals…

The Maritimers are the easiest ones to win over. They’ll go for whoever is the first to yell “Free Weed”… 😀

Bernier is indeed taking a risk but we need to find out if the support is there or not for the long game that he’s playing…

If Canada is so great for Asylum seekers, why don’t more men and their children go there? Anyways, the amount of power and laws that have been passed are going to make it REALLY hard for anyone to make any great changes. Hell, it would take an act of god to make that work. But Good luck.

I’ve written off the 2019 election. My “optimism” is for the election in 2013.

The latest polls just before Bernier bailed showed the Liberals and the Conservatives nearly tied in the popular vote but with Turdeau still winning a majority government with the ridings held. This is most unsettling considering the Turd’s behaviour and performance since his election.

It’s s~~~ty that Bernier is going to split the Conservative vote but we’ve already lost the 2019 election. We just now have to wait and see if Bernier has the support that he thinks he does to form a viable and competitive party for the 2013 election. If he doesn’t and he fails, then we’ll know for sure that Canada is lost. If that is indeed the case, there’s no sense in worrying about it any longer. But we need to know and now is the time to find out…
