    Oops

Top Shop has claimed the Ivy Park range will “empower women through sport”.

One machinist told a tabloid: “When they talk about women and empowerment this is just for the foreigners.

You say "love is a temple, love the higher law" ...You ask me to enter, but then you make me crawl. And I can't be holding on to what you got, when all you got is hurt

Fine example of feminism you found there numbCruncher. They are all about empowerment, their own that is, even at the cost of other women. I mean, they want women to be equal, just not the ones that make their products and increase their income. Those one’s can just keep labouring away… and they better not get a single damn stitch wrong… Beyounce def don’t wanna see her clothes on the discount isle. smmfh…good find.

Funny, isn't it? How women thrive on a mans time, attention and resources, while simultaneously telling him he isn't enough...

She should be arrested for false advertisement on “NEW” sweat pants and gym ware. How can sweat pants be new with someones sweat already sewn into the fabric!

That kind of feminist hypocrisy has made the news before. Women who claim to be “oppressed”…. oppressing women for profit. And who’s the poster girl? Emma Watzi the FemiNazi,

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Designer clothes are for morons anyway. I still can’t figure out the difference between Walmart clothes and “designer” clothes. LOL I actually just went to a mall for the first time in a very long time (decade?), and it was basically nothing but one clothes store after another. I could not figure out what the difference was. It looked like every store had the same s~~~. The only difference was in the layout of each store.

This isn’t a female celebrity issue, although female celebrities are more likely to have clothing lines.

Unless you’re wealthy enough to have all your clothing including underwear and socks made by hand to order, All clothing lines use sweatshop labor. It’s the nature of the industry.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

I read The End of Poverty some years back and in it the economist argues that sweatshops are part of the chain of development, as they lead (slowly) to empowered employees, unions and other basic elements of a society pulling itself out of the gutter: which is why the people labouring there prefer it to starving in the streets. Very interesting read.

Separate issue though, I guess. This is an example of a woman exploiting other women to get to the top. Not really a gender issue – the men at the top did the same thing to get there – but rank hypocrisy, as usual.
