Good anime is loaded with great speeches. Cowboy Bebop has a few, Outlaw Star, Trigun, the list goes on.

One of my favorite anime speeches is in Black Lagoon, when Chang talks to Rock about how he loathes hypocrisy.

All good animes referenced, specially Cowboy Bebop i still can’t get that anime out of my head after all these years, early 90’s kid here, i feel like Anime was really something of another world back then compared to now that it’s all flashy and made to hype you up.

Saint Seiya was another anime with a lot of depth and i really enjoyed learning the background and story of them all.

To understand Cowboy Bebop is to realize that Cowboy Bebop was the peak of the action-drama anime series.

A peak that took three decades to reach. First with Lupin 3rd in the 70’s, City Hunter, Bubblegum Crisis, Dirty Pair in the 80’s, Trigun and Outlaw Star in the 90’s. There are a lot of other examples.

The last action-drama anime that reached near the quality of Cowboy Bebop was Black Lagoon.

Saint Seiya was another anime with a lot of depth and i really enjoyed learning the background and story of them all.

There are some really good anime series of different genre.

People whom think Bleach and Naruto are hot stuff do not realize that Bleach was heavily inspired by Yu Yu Hakusho (a very good fighting anime dealing with spirits and demons) and Naruto is like the original Dragon Ball with mysticism and magic techniques instead of technology and aliens.
