While promoting his film The Wolfman (2010), he described his romantic life as “in limbo”. When asked if he had thoughts of settling down, he responded, “Why? Everyone says, ‘Why isn’t he married?’ But it’s like, ‘F~~~! Why do I have to get married? Just so I can get divorced?'” In an interview with The Times, he mentioned that he did not want his West Hollywood apartment, which he described as his “cave”, to be “invaded” by a wife and children.

One of my all time favorite actors ever. This guy is awesome.

Heaven forbid that a successful man go through life without getting married.

I hope he said “Why the F~~~ would I get married?” and they just edited out the f~~~.

Why the f~~~ indeed. Surely not for the f~~~s because those vanish almost immediately. And not for the peace and stability that a woman brings to the home or the satisfaction and security that comes with having children… and certainly not for the financial benefits of sharing resources with a spouse.

Maybe the only true benefit of being married is that greedy c~~~s will stop asking you why you aren’t married.

I reckon you’ll start to see more celebrities going down this path. If you’re rich and can pull any chick you want for casual sex why would you get married. If you want kids go the ronaldo path and use a surrogate. Look at johnny depp and boris becker, married, divorced and now financially f~~~ed.

Don’t forget British comedian John Cleese. Married 3 times, now on his fourth.

Wife No.3 cost him an initial $12,000,000 and then $600,000 a year. Now he’s bust and reduced to doing third rate gigs to try and pay it all.
