Have you noticed when a woman is trying to get your attention with some silly shaming language, and you look at her to see what’s going on, she suddenly looks the other way? And often even walks fast away with some fake laughter. As if something funny happened.

She is so insecure that she wants you to hear something, and is afraid to see your reaction because it would make her feel like s~~~ again if the reaction is something she didn’t want to see.

They are funny. When are they going to understand that by acting like a teenager, they a) embarrass themselves and b) push men away from them?

If you punch me in the face, I’m not going to like you. I would try to avoid you. It’s common sense. Women think that by shaming a man, he would like them more!? How about acting like a lady instead?

To me it’s more like an old-time filament light-bulb going *blink* and goes dark.

Nitpicking about the fuse; the glass won’t explode, the sand will contain and defuse the arch of the electric current. Unless you’re thinking of a high-current fuse that needs to be pumped up pneumatically before switching on so as to not create a long lasting arch…?

I mean these little 5×20 mm 3,15 Amp or whatever is found in switching power supplys of TV sets. And when the SMPS dies with an internal short circuit, the fuse get hundreds of Amperes and has no chance of survival. You first hear the case of the IC and the Output-Transistor hit the ceiling, the fuse disintgrates with a bright blue arc and the sand is all over the circuit board.

Of course, “better” TV sets had limiting resistors in series that would keep that from happening. I can fill a whole thread just with power supply stories.

These short circuits are somestimes so bad that narrow parts of the copper layers on the circuit board itself gets blown way. Then you have to fix them with a wire…

It took 25 takes to get the spark on the camera like that. This 15 year-old Grundig had a hard time dying. I would have fixed it but the LCD-era had caught up…
