Honestly even if i am not religious i miss the days where people actually cared about each other, back in the 70 when i was a kid i remember my father lending a hand and more to the neighbors everyone used to help everyone.

Today religion died out, the stress of life, people are more and more selfish, driving, and anything else.

I used to be a giving person, and i used to care a lot more when i was younger, i remember leaving my lesson when i was 24 i was working at a cinema and i was the oldest there, giving lifts to every damn employee even when we went out on Friday nights and more…. but never did they offer to pay for gas and more…….

Today i am still a good person ready to help but i get respected, i have no fear in telling someone off, or turning back someone. I am also a big man but never impose this on others.

Life is unfair and its not because you are a good person ready to lay down for everyone that you will be respected. That is pure bull. Men need to stand up and put there foot down on every part of there lives.

That lesson too took me a long time to learn but now i feel a lot better. Need to ignore what people say behind our backs and when they try to put us down, its weird since i lost some weight and look better a lot of people shut up haha about how i look LOL.

Exactly that. Being a doorstop is not the same thing as being a good person at all. You cannot be a good person if you can not be good for yourself in the first place. I do not know if I am a good person, only God knows that, but I know I do have a kind heart. And fortunately I am reserved and aloof enough to not let my kindness get myself into trouble.

Learn to say no, it will help you discern between those who’ll truly appreciate your assistance and those who are just selfish dicks more easily.

I am getting more and more jaded at how I try to show manners but get nothing in return but I call people out on it now

eg week before last – we went to the pub for lunch and I stood holding the door open for a bloke for ages and he just strolled through so in his face I said “thankyou” which shocked him in saying thanks (he clearly hadn’t noticed I was there as he must have thought I was his own personal doorman). I then called him a prick and went to the bar where he stood awkwardly next to us while we got our drinks lol

There is a guy at my job that never stir s~~~, he is morbidly obese now he is sick is liver is done, water retention, awful skin disease and more,i have not pity for this guy because he is a f~~~ing asshole and he was been all is life.

He is the ultimate beta male, ready to please any and everyone, he cannot stand that even one person would hate him, he is ready to lend money to anyone……

He is very negative he complains all the time that life as been hard on him women money family but he never ever took care of himself and let himself get to 400 pounds of fat.

When younger he is now 54 but when he was around 25 he spent is pay at the strip club, got paid on Thursday and on Sunday night he spend it all on strippers….. even bragging that the doorman recognized him and he did not pay the cover charge go figure.

He want to Dominican Republic at 30 went a few times, a 19y old Dominican jumped on him gave him amazing sex manipulated him, he paid an apartment for her for 6 months there so she would not do prostitution, then he paid everything and brought her here to Canada and married her, this cost a lot of money, she got her she stayed with him a bit got an education filled in is credit cards, met a doctor cheated on him and left him dry with 40000$ debt. She is divorce from the other guy got 3 kids, that idiot still goes out to diner with her, and pay at the end of the night. She is making the money he got a normal job.

Its hard to have pity when you meet people that are that stupid, this guy gives everything to people and they all laugh at him. He is sick right now and does not go see the doctor, he will probably die of a heart attack or obese weight related.

He will die and have no clue that life laugh at him all the way to is grave………

I spoke to him a few times tried to help him but its always excuses and negativity that drove me crazy, you know when you just want to slap someone in the face cause there stupid…… well that’s him…….

I still help people i take no s~~~ tough and i hate negative people around me…. so i don’t keep them around for long….life is too short to be unhappy

There are plenty of “good” people that are not religious, and plenty of “bad” people that are religious. There really is no correlation, and definitely not causation between human virtues and any man made religion.
