So they put up some fake paneling. Looks like roll-on wallpaper and not an actual paint job. If they paid someone to do this they’re an idiot who deserves to have their money taken away, because I could do this blindfolded in under an hour.

That’s how it goes. It’s not about the actual work for them, it’s about paying for work and feeling special.

I wonder how much this pointless venture cost. I wonder how much money that would have earned sitting in an index fund for twenty or thirty years.

I thank my luckies no. I was at risk, looking to get into that when I was younger but kept noticing that my budget would start struggling even just while dating. I’m lucky that no ladies played the late game cus it would have worked.

I’m very much a minimalist trucker. No house, no car, saving most of my money to buy an ultra cheap trailer upfront with no money lost to interest. I suppose I could already do that now that I think about it, but I’m not done saving anyway so what’s the point.

Just to be clear, my final stage of blue pill mind set was trying to find a woman that would help me grow financially instead of overspending. After 5-10 years of that not happening, I started to realize it never would which was the red pill that signed me up to go my own way for good.
