Thanasi. About $250 a month PER PERSON for health care premiums. This is not including co-pays or medications, which, could double that number. Rents- $800 a month is about a minimum for tiny. Probably a $1000 plus on the West Coast. Food, $400 – $600 a month, depending what you eat and how often you go out. Car payment, $250 a month for an economy car. $150 a month for car insurance. $150 a month on gasoline. $150 plus a month on phone and cable. $30-$50 a month for water. $200 plus a month for electricity. Federal and state income taxes, property taxes… But, I live in one of the cheapest areas of the country. No where near the west coast.

But to be able to care for your children independently, successfully, without hand outs and mandates from the state. That was a higher goal. And apparently an impossible one today.

I had no-nonsense private schooling. One might even say “military” in its methods. The standard was extremely high, and I had to be “accepted”. Today, those standards would be called “abuse” by your basic millennial weakling, and they would never survive it. Even f~~~ing Princeton‘s inferior HR department are such a bunch of pathetic basket cases, they can’t even utter the word “man” on campus without losing their minds. And that’s supposed to be an institute of higher learning???

You can still take a “woman’s studies” course there, though. If you’re a fool.

Still want to bring kids into a world like that?

I am not too far from thinking anyone considering bringing a child into this world is coldly considering an act of cruelty.

So, we just sit back and watch the Titanic sink now? Watch a nation drown, clinging to their precious cast pot metal and silk ribbon awards they gave their entire lives for?

Well you can pick up a baronet a fight a 3rd world war if you want. But countless men already saved the West – TWICE – from tyranny, and now they are trying to create more civil unrest.

    Men have learned and adapted.

THIS is what they do with their freedoms and liberties that so many men died for. And this is supposed to be “peace time”. If you had given your life in WWI ( or WWII ) , and looked down on what has become … would you have BOTHERED?

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Thank you very much. It’s what I expected, and makes me feel a lot better. My wife’s enterprise at trying to get all her family to the United States from Peru may never launch. Her zeal broke my family, leaving my daughter without a father, and lead to a loss of a large part of my resources. We had it better in Australia. Anyway, I’m back in Australia rebuilding my life.

No. Not here. But I can’t say that because of siblings who have had children. No matter how miserable you expect their entire lives to be, their parent’s do not want you to tell them that. Everything must be rainbows and unicorns. Despite what I know from my own life experience, I have to hope for the best for them.

And, actually, I thought I might spend my retirement in some Latin nation that still has family values and act as more of a Paul Revere. “The Progressives are coming! The Progressives are coming!”
I did bit of that when I learned that the Clinton State Department was funding Girl Scout programs in South America that, without parental knowledge, was teaching abortion and family planning to young Catholic girls. I made enough noise apparently, the State Department web sites bragging about the programs suddenly got taken down. Then the Clinton s went to visit the Pope, and a short time later the Pope announced, while not backing down on abortion and birth control, basically, announced to the church that if you could not afford to raise children, then you shouldn’t have them.

About 8 billion and still growing Twist. How much psychological “motivation” is going to take to make it stop?
