Battlefront II (4) – Another female protagonist?!

Ughhhhhh,

Where to even begin?

Well for starters the new battlefront already looks like garbage, it’s just a cutscene trailer, no actual gameplay.

There using property from The force awakens (more super-Rey I suspect) so there’s that…

But what really got me in a tizzy is that it is yet another female protagonist, and more of the Mary Sue character, ( Ex. The troopers are leaderless and all look at her for what to do, she gets the drop on Luke Skywalker, REALLY? Luke friggin Skywalker?)

Most of the trailer is dedicated to her just showing all the men how awesome she is, and won’t take any of it,

(stormtrooper are notoriously bad shots, but they have her shooting three people in a row then overpowering the rest just to show how great she is compared to the men in the squad.)

I remember the old battlefront 2 and the galactic conquest mode, I spent hundreds of hours conquering planets and having Jedi/Sith battles that I could only dream of, it was amazing.

Now I won’t count my chickens before they hatch, but I will definitely wait to hear about the game when someone else plays it first.

(P.S I know my profile is a stormtrooper, but I’m into the old canon, before Star Wars turned into a social justice contest.)

Have you ever had the thought that the marketing departments of these companies have lobotomized themselves? That they came up with the belief that the 80% of their market whom pays for their product, one product after another, does not matter because they are men. That only the fickle 20% of the market whom sometimes buys their product matters because they are women.

Either that or they are like “The Producers”, they are trying to make more money from a flop instead of a hit.

I am willing to bet the marketing departments are staffed by graduates of the same schools that produce all the “men are worthless idiots” TV commercials. In other words, my answer to your question is YES.

Does anyone else remember Star Wars Battlefront 2 that came out in 2005? Seems like they are really recycling games pretty fast.

on a side point – I saw Rogue One over the weekend and it actually isn’t the feminist garbage I was expecting. It was the total opposite to The Feminist Awakens and I actually enjoyed it – that Vader scene at the end is amazing

Cannot agree more, however all you have to do is look at who owns the rights to Star Wars (Lucasarts) now….. Disney!!!!! PC garbage if you ask me.

The only interesting thing I saw through the whole clip was Darth Freaking Maul about to whoop on some little green man.

Ill wait till this one goes on sale for $20 after being out for 3 months and dropping in active players by 85%.
