Gettysburg and Vicksburg. My two favorite battles. Gettysburg was hell man. I wish we had a time machine. I’d like to go back, sit on the hill and watch it from a distance. Then go to some island in the pacific to take my refuge lol

These men set up the whole Union Victory, on the first day.

Others did great things, but the victory starts with them. If they had faltered the battle would have been done the first day. The confederates would have taken the good ground, and history would remember Reynolds charge.
