Per a member on here who suspected this, they are coming out today saying one warship and a “number” of B1 bombers were used in the attack.
Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk midnight choir, I have tried in my way to be free.
Yes that and 4 Tornado GR4s from RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus, as I predicted.

Saw a few photos of RAF Tornadoes returning to Cyprus, and one of a Typhoon.
The Tornadoes are getting a bit long in the tooth but the F-35s aren’t anywhere near ready yet.
Didn’t the Syrians shoot down 30% of the cruise missiles?

The F35s are s~~~ should have bought Gripen.
A Typhoon would waste an F35 in a dogfight-the Gripen is better than a Typhoon.
The GR4 Tornado is still a good ground attack fighter -will do mach 1.3

Anonymous7The B-2s get all the press. To be sure the B-2s are cool as f~~~. Yet, the B-1 Lancer is no f~~~ing joke. Gotta like toys with variable swept wings.
Something to think about, right-wrong the US did not send the stealth bomber.

Simple, Russia’s S-400 systems are in place and activated around Tartus.

Anonymous7To me, it suggests that Russian counter measures are s~~~.
The B-1 Lancer is a beast to be sure but the B-2 Spirit was not needed. Just sayin’

Well, they did shoot down 3/4 of all missiles with equipment made over 30 years ago. S-200’s.
I agree that the B-2 was not needed. It was more of a surgical strike than carpet bombing imo.

So, the Moslime’s and Commie’s say. I don’t believe the other side either. I suspect the truth is in the middle.

You do realize Grue, that Russia is no longer communist and is also a Christian Nation? Let alone, they are many different religions that reside in Syria as well.

Agreed. The Typhoon and Tornado are solid airframes, but the new Gripen E variant has superior electronics (AESA, ECM, and IRST). Might be a good idea to merge the best of the Gripen E and F-35 electronics and install them into older aircraft like the Tornado. It would keep it a viable fighter-bomber for another couple decades.
All academic, of course.

If you mean 3/4 from total number of missiles and decoys, that might be true.
