I know several lawyers, but they are all men, and none live in NY. I am sure there must be women lawyers who are successes, but I haven’t met any. I have seen them played by rich woman Hollywood stars in movies and on TV …

I work in insurance and work with/against a lot of lawyers. Most are razor sharp. I think Canada must have fewer law schools per capita and so it’s actually pretty hard to become a lawyer here.

The female lawyers I deal with are often just as shrewd and smart as the males, but the females are even more shameless in terms of what they’re willing to do or say to try and get an extra buck. Most of the men have at least some modicum of shame, whereas most of the women have none whatsoever.
