Attention seeking in the office

Just a rant

Some woman in the office is one of those annoying attention seekers who will do anything for attention whether it is good or bad. We are talking humming so that someone complains/joins in, annoying hypochondria (every time she stubs her toe she has cancer), usual drama over nothing because someone might have been “off” with her on the phone….

the most annoying thing though is attention sneezing. I am sitting here getting on with stuff and then out of the blue she does some over the top, exaggerated sneeze – totally un-f~~~ing-necessary and it isn’t funny when I am miles away and get that s~~~ opposite me making me jump and hurting my ears. She just wants a reaction from someone, anyone, to the stuff she does and it is f~~~ing annoying

This is NO different than their behaviors at a bar, club, home, church, mall, restaurant, cave, hospital, jail, wedding, etc.

It’s a carry-over from their adolescence.

I do think that at times – that it is how a child acts. Women really are adultchildren

Attention is what they live for.
Try to ignore it as much as possible.
Typical c~~~ behavior.
Deny her the attention she so desperately wants.
Maybe capturing some of her antics on video with your phone may convince the H.R.dept. to address this. .

Funny you mention this-at the dive bar that I bounce at on a Fri/Sat night they have employed new bar staff, and the new people were cool, low key, not f~~~ing c~~~s and it was a good balance, finally, and an end to all the previous attention whoring c~~~ bar maids they used to have there. That is until they hired this dips~~~, loud mouthed fat c~~~ who isn’t even 21 yet. God i f~~~ing hate her. She is EXACTLY like this other fat c~~~ they used to have there. Running around causing drama, never shuts her fat f~~~ing pie hole, brings attention to herself by any means possible and will even interrupt my conversations with other people with her diatribe.

Just seeing this c~~~ when i walk in makes me want to turn around, get back in my car and f~~~ off home. Theres an older woman they employed there before her, who is usually quiet, but is now becoming opinionated and irritating due to this new 19 year old c~~~, as they’ve become good friends.

How do we make these c~~~s shut the f~~~ up?

Oh how I wish this was true. Some c~~~s are so insufferable that the only way to end the f~~~ing misery of being in the same vicinity as them, is if they drop dead, or you never go near them again.

Had a situation last year at work that was pretty weird, but not only for me.., a female colleague, blonde, polish, good looking (in her late 30s or early 40s), she never smiles, grave facial expression, she´s one of our accountants and had a problem with pdf´s that would not print. She called me over to her office and showed me her problem. I sat down in front of her screen to check the settings in Adobe Acrobat while she was watching me. She was pretty close, had her hand on the desk and leaned towards me and her office drawer next to the desk, knocking on the same with her high heels to provoke me to look at her legs <women are fatuous. She wore a skirt and some black nylons with a flower pattern on them (seen them on the way to the office). I didn´t look at her legs as she wanted me to and was focused on fixing her problem. I knew what she expected me to do in that moment, but I did not give an inch. She sort of was p~~~ed off that I did not look at her legs and after I changed the settings and the printing worked again she suddenly had another problem with SAP (which is not operated by my department). In the meantime two other female colleagues had entered the room while the problem was being fixed by me.
Now she raised her voice and snapped (knowingly that the other female colleagues would notice): “Why aren´t you willing to help me with my SAP problem, I think I need to tell our boss!”
I replied “Please go ahead, he knows I can´t help you with this”. Before this issue she often called me over to help her with her minor problems… thereafter never again… cool for me.

Another female colleague moved to our office a couple of months later, she had an argument with some other woman in her former office and received a dissuasion for that. She´s nice looking and a redhead (have a weakness there). She´s pretty impulsive, to say the least, but also pretty skilled with what she is doing, at least that´s our executives opinion. One day we got into talks within our office (9 people in there), we do that often, the topic was:“Meeting your significant other in your company”. I said: “Hooking up within your company is the stupidest thing you could ever do”. Her reply was: “But you meet so much nice people at work”. Me again “What if you break up with that colleague? You can´t walk away then! You´d be forced to look for another job”. Silence.
She´s constantly seeking for attention like dancing in the office or singing along with the songs in the radio… it´s a weird place where I work.

Women pretend they don’t want male attention, but they need it like food or water. They are starved for it. If you don’t give it to them they will do other more crazy stuff to get it, dangerous stuff, melodramatic stuff and so on.

It’s pretty f~~~ing annoying, or they will stand there trying to make you start giving them attention. Just ignore that s~~~, or better yet, do it right back at her and only her. Anytime she is around, cough loudly, stomp your feet, just be a nuisance, and that might shut her ass up.
