I have been experiencing a bug lately, where I type up a very long reply to something in the forum, click “post” and then it thinks I post, but it didn’t post what I wrote. Then, if I attempt to repost it because it didn’t work the first time, it says that it detects a duplicate. What is going on here?

That means it went into “pending”… or possibly “spam” (which almost never happens). We had a pretty strict filter in place until about 3 weeks ago which held more back, but now it’s not even 1 or 3 per day. We have found this can be caused by the quoting other large quotes….. but it’s not totally consistent. If it says “you already tried to say that” …. it means it’s “pending” and an admin will check whats in pending and publish it for you.

We have posted a little reminder of this from time to time to just ask ( or contact us ) if you’re concerned , and we will hop over to publish it for you. But perhaps we should put a little note under the submit button that this CAN happen.

In any case, our strict filter has been removed and has reduced the number of times this happens (per day) to practically zero.
As soon as I noticed you posted this, I checked and published yours.
