So how much money does the NHL have to fork over for this s~~~?
I accidentally turn this s~~~ on thinking it was high school game, nope it was minnesota whitecaps, what the f~~~.

WNBA is bankrupt, only reason their still around, the NBA is pumping in money.

Can you say penis envy, seriously can you c~~~s invent your own s~~~, instead of invading our f~~~ing spaces.
    Thanks!

P.S. I see your boy, Patrick Kane has nice point streak going, tied Crosby at 25 games.

    National Women’s Hockey League (2015–)

The formation of the NWHL was announced in March 2015. The league holds the distinction of being the first U.S women’s professional hockey league to pay its players. Prior to the League’s formation the only choice for top level professional women’s hockey in North America was the Canadian Women’s Hockey League which is unpaid. The league runs on a salary cap of US $270,000 maximum per team and of $10,000 minimum per player.[4] The players can also make additional revenue by way of a right to 15% of profits off any NWHL jersey sold with their name on it. Equipment is also provided to the players by the league. The league placed its four original teams in what it considered to be strong traditional hockey markets where support would be strongest: in the New York City area, Buffalo and New England.

Let’s see how long they will last. To be honest I don’t think people will watch the game.

And will possibly soon hold the distinction of being the last U.S. women’s professional hockey team to pay its players.

strong traditional hockey markets where support would be strongest

Strong traditional socialist strongholds where people can be browbeaten to going to the games out of guilt and a sense of wanting to participate in societal collapse.

Although if they’re only pay $275k + nonexistant points on merch for player salaries, probably nothing but cost for stadium use, and a shoestring budget for front office, they may well make a profit on the merchandise. Travel costs aren’t going to be high, either, at least to begin with.

I hate – and I mean really, really, really, really f~~~ing hate – to say this, but this may be a viable business model. I can see selling a lot of clothing and gear to split tails and manginas who don’t actually watch hockey, but who want to be supportive of Trotsky’s march upon the capital feminism.

Let’s say they’re out $600-800k per team per year. With sponsorships and merchandise, I can see them recouping that fairly quickly.

No, no one is going to *watch* the f~~~ing games, but that’s not the point, really.

I live in a part of the US where hockey is a secular religion. There are pee-wee leagues for preschoolers, co-ed teams up through grammar school, boys and girls teams in middle school, high school, and college, amateur adult leagues both co-ed and not, and a myriad of semi-pro and professional teams at various levels. When someone is talking about the NCAA tournament in March, there’s a good chance they’re talking about the Frozen Four and not the Final Four.

We like hockey and I’ve no problem with women being paid to play. A lot of women play college hockey in my region so what’s wrong with them playing for pay after graduation and taking care of their debt?

Like the WNBA, this WNHL is most likely a tax write-off and public relations venture. Believe me, people as tight-fisted as the NHL aren’t going to parting with their money without a damn good reason. The money involved is a pittance anyway.

Now, if just like those soccer c~~~s, the women involved start whining about not being paid like the men – despite not having the skills, gate receipts, and TV contracts the men’s game has – than I have a problem. However, that’s got to happen before I dismiss the idea.

If you subscribe, some of your cable TV dollars go to them. Even if they don’t get viewers, they get a slice of the TV pie. Like them or not, you’re paying them.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
