Christians have caused me more emotional damage than any atheist I ever known. Hmmmmm, And I’m Christian? Hmmmmm, I wonder if I’m on the wrong team? Hmmmmm.

After what I’ve been through with hypocritical back stabbing Christians I don’t blame atheists for attacking.

I enjoy reading new material and alternate ways to enlightenment, but this is MGTOW. Guys go their own way.

Keep your writing style informational. Let people learn at their own pace. Some people get turned off when it sounds like preaching.

What you have stated above is your opinion, not fact. From my reading of many of your posts, the manner which you describe above is the way you speak, not him. Most people recognize that when someone criticizes another, they are in fact shining light on their own shortcomings, not the other. Would you agree with that statement in general?

Gambit, have you ever considered that there are in fact people in the world who know more about a certain subject than you?

You admit to being raised muslim. Then you left muslim and changed to Christianity. But you cannot accept debating criticism of Christianity, even though you must have gone through a similar process to leave being muslim?

I don’t think this is entirely true. I often refrain from speaking my mind because the conversation or the person is beneath me. I still have an opinion even though I refrain from expressing it in written form.

There was a long period in between the two where I was an atheist, as well as an agnostic. I did not accept Christ based on emotion as most atheists would like to think. It was a logical decision for me and something that most atheists would never understand.

I have no problem with someone criticizing Christianity, but they should try and be respectful. I never criticize another person’s religion and if I were to, I would not do so in a condescending fashion like Joe has consistently been doing.

I too was a jackass atheist for a long time. Until I listened to the bible and learned about many things. Then I realized that the bible is correct if properly understood.

It was only after reading the entire bible and going to many different denomination of churches that I realized just how manipulative and brainwashing Christianity is. I don’t believe that anyone who read the bible in full, and understands it. The irony is lost on those who attend church – the bible is a constant reminder not to practice idolatry.

The entire bible can be summed up in three words:

Then you walk into a church – they put up a big wooden cross, or a synagogue – they put up the torah… They say, give us your money or you’ll go to hell, etc… They offer you bread (the Eucharist and Wednesday night meals), angels, and the kingdom of heaven when you die – the very three things the devil Tempted Jesus with.

I was in church once and the preacher said, Jesus said, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.

Uh…no, that’s not what the bible says. It says they shall be called the sons of God, not the children of God. He then went on to talk about how everyone is a child and should act like children with this quote and that quote and that whole bulls~~~…

You see what he did there? If he actually read the actual quote from the Bible, people might make the connection – Oh…we are sons of God, Jesus was the son of God… we are all the sons of God – we are like Jesus already. Jesus was a man just like us.

But no… got to brainwash everyone into thinking they are “children” and that Jesus is “God”, etc…

I have seen all the preachers manipulate bible verses – that’s all they do. The church is the work of the Devil, and that’s exactly what Jesus said would happen, over and over, and not even any Christian can deny that.

The church does not practice religion, the church prevents people from truly being spiritual and in touch with the universal truth, or God if you prefer to call it that.

How can you not see it? If you don’t see it, you don’t see it. There’s many things in this world I don’t see. Like someone said, you can lead a horse to water.

I do not attend Church. I use the Bible as a guide. I am not sure what you believe now based on your post. I am a bit confused.

^^^ Theres a whole lot of self worship in there. A lot of what you say is not found in the Bible. You should really stop trying to use the bible to attack people. It’s out of context and makes you look silly.
