When I heard this, I immediately thought the same thing as Puffin -male specimens tend to be more eye catching.

Then I thought how in the human it is the opposite of how it is in the Peac~~~. The female makes herself as colourful and eye catching as possible and the male (at least traditionally) is more plain in attire and wastes no time on makeup. Made me realise the obvious was clear for all to see. The female peac~~~ is the prize to be competed for. She will make the big investment in bearing and raising offspring. The male must convince her of his worth. What does this tell us about which human gender is the prize that makes the big investment?

A woman is like fire -fun to play with, can warm you through and cook your food, needs constant feeding, can burn you and consume all you own
