I thought that he made several important points about the severe drawbacks and the nature of a new civil war:

The thing is, he suggests adherence to Federalism as a cure, but the far left/globalists don’t want real Federalism. They want things to function as a unitary socialist state, that is subservient to globalism.

You can only compromise with people willing to compromise, and the other side doesn’t value Federalism or the Constitution.

When a group of people unwilling to compromise attempt to impose their rules on other people without regard to their rights, the only options in the end will be either surrender or war.

I have a suggestion for a new word, to describe the “globalist” leftists, like Jeff Bezos and George Soros:

“Gleftists”

Its never going to happen. What are you going to pick teams one day based on your stance on abortion, then the next day shake up the teams based on your view of tariffs? People wouldn’t even know who the enemy is. Most of the country is pretty moderate…its just the media tries to paint out the fringe on both sides as the norm.
