In the marines, you need to be both mentally and physically strong. Marines, especially privates, look up to their leader for these two qualities. Being mentally strong, alone, is good but not good enough. Being physically strong, alone, is good but not good enough. Both are required.

I was in the grunts, o311. Women’s physical weaknesses are reason enough to stop them from being infantry but that isn’t the only reason. They are a sexual distraction. Women are not equipped to handle the realities of soldiering, particularly the requirements to be in infantry positions. Physical standards are high for a reason; it takes a man.

Were this absurd s~~~ happening when I was in the US Army infantry, how would any female “soldier” have evac’d my 210 pound, 6′ 2″ ass in full battle rattle with my weapon, my gear, and all of her gear? Have any of you seen female soldiers after a ten mile road march? They can hardly move and most go on sick call to get a medical profile the next day. Laughable.

No one ever had a good answer, but the feminists screeched like autists that women can do anything men can do, only better. No answer to my question, mind you; just screeching. Women in co-ed combat units is a gigantic mistake that will only get men killed.

If the standard were accommodating to women, the first army that comes along with male standards would wreck. I don’t care if modern warfare involves technology and sophisticated weaponry–you still have boots on the ground doing the hard work.

What makes this even more is the fact the private had all of almost no training and the captain had years of training. Betting this is the reason the woman got into the ring in the first past thinking I am bad ass and can take a newbie.
