Are there any MGTOW Freemasons on the site?

My grandfather was a mason and I was talking with my dad about it. I was thinking of joining and started looking up stuff. 99% of what I can find is conspiracy stuff that accuses them of all sorts of stuff, so I would like inputs from any Masons that may be here.

I have to admit some of this s~~~ is creepy to me.

I am a Freemason and can tell you that the conspiracy rumors are untrue. It is a beautiful Order that can bring out the best in men who normally would not associate with each other. My only question is how does one join?

I’ve heard that you have to be either invited into the order, or be “born” into it. Since I’ve never had any friends whom admitted to being a Freemason, I never looked into it.

To be honest, in most areas Freemasons aren’t supposed to solicit membership. To petition for membership I suggest you look up the Grand Lodge in whatever state you reside(if in USA) and find what lodges are near you. Then you go to that lodge and state your sincere interest in Freemasonry and that you’d like to petition for membership. You may be asked some questions and they will explain the process. There is no being “born” into it, nor being invited. Each man must decide for himself and be willing to “knock on the door”. That is what I did after spending years researching until I had a very favorable opinion of it and was sure I wanted to become a member.

I looked into it at my local free masons, it’s my understanding that you have to give an oath of obedience to the law, I explained to him my poor standing with law regarding the injunction and CEASE and DESIST on my property, I felt I would be violating their stature, or at the least be a total hypocrite, so I told him there is a conflict of interest and joining would violate their charter.

What do Freemasons such as yourself think when they see these types of conspiracy videos? I mean it seems like something is up.. also I read that atheists cant join.

Well i was an atheist for most of my life after growing up in oppressive Utah surrounded by mormons who thought my family were demons because my dad quit the mormon church and my mom was methodist. I was secretly atheist from about age 12. But only recently I have been having second thoughts.. Im not quit a believer yet so I guess that makes me agnostic.

Yes. So if theres a possibility that god exists its important to find out right? What is the sence of life if not to find out the truth if god exists. After my whole research during the last years I can tell you that it seems very close to impossible that god doesnt exist.

It’s just as likely that any god that exists would send believers to some kind of hell and nonbelievers to some kind of heaven.
