We all know that men are more logically inclined, but I consider myself a creative person. Think about it. Who are all the great artists? Composers? Inventors? Architects? Men are very imaginative. We can envision something and then make it happen. What do you all think? Are men more creative?

It can be answered both ways: by considering the various artistic and creative areas where men excel – pretty much all of them – and comparing with the areas women excel.

Of which there is only really one – writing. Women are good at talking (better at talking than shutting up) so there have been, throughout history, a few very good and famous female writers. But not as many as men.

And that’s about it. So yes, men are more creative.

Let me be the first to have the unpopular opinion on this thread.

Women are just as creative as men. They just utilize this particular skill it for a different goal. This is why a woman is far better at social insights, social engineering and manipulation of other men in particular. Does that make them creative? It most certainly does, just on a different level.

You don’t solely look at buildings, architecture and design and tell men are creative a because they created these buildings and women did not. That is a flawed, irrational and unfair comparison. If the statement would be: men are more creative at architecture, inventing and engineering solutions: I would have agreed.

In essence both genders use the same skill for different purposes. Therefore the “men are more creative” statement is simply not true.
