Are men ATM cards? Yup, here are some stats.

I just had to argue on a comments section with some woman about all men needing the ‘free’ labor of women for domestic duties.   I told her that I personally had lived alone for the last 17 years and had performed all of my domestic duties for free the whole time.  Then I went on to destroy her idea  that these women were collectively doing all this domestic labor for ‘free’.

HER POST:

“I will add that almost every man has to have a woman taking care of him domestically as he is inept in this every day personal responsibility.
Women provide millions in free domestic labor so all those higher paid men don’t have to worry their pretty little heads about it.”

MY POST:

“You are stereotyping and you are not helping your side gain the moral high ground.

I am a man, I live alone and have since I was 23(now 39). I read that about 12% of men live alone(1 in 8). It is quite easy and I don’t feel I require a woman to do anything domestic for me at all. I also ask nothing of women, including sex, companionship dates or even moral support.

I work with women, and have women both as coworkers and bosses whom I respect and who evaluate me highly during my employee reviews each year.

Also, don’t worry about those millions in ‘free’ domestic labor. Even though some studies claim men make 20%-25% more than women, women still spend 80%+ of the money, so they aren’t doing that domestic stuff for free… I am though.

*** then tell them about #1 and say, you women are going to start paying MORE Alimony and Child support than MEN after 2028 then right?…

Yeah, right.
