No they shouldn’t be. It’s the false matrix keeping men in their place so they continue to be productive workers for the hive.

humans are supposed to be monogamous only until the kids are grown up.

All good things come to an end.

They are not—but should we be is perhaps the better question. Do people steal? Should they steal? Do people murder? should they murder? There is a huge difference between what people do and what they should do—Not to be archaic but I believe it was once called “right” and “wrong”.

If your polyamorous then who is gonna support all those single mothers? Monogamy is the first link in the slave chain. One man to take care of one woman.

I meet woman all the time that are serial monogamists.
One man at time till the next one. They think it gives them some moral high ground. “”I’m a monogamist that’s f~~~ed 40 guys but I did them one at time so I’m righteous .”” Whatever.

None of the great apes, our closest relatives are.

It is a social construct and it made civilzation happen.

It is right to be monogamous. The Bible tells us this, and it is the word of God. If one doesn’t like it—take it up with God. He made the woman to be our companion for life. Just because feminists, leftists, atheists and the like reject it as “inconvenient” doesn’t make it any less right.

What apes and other animals do is irrelevant when discussing humans. Humans differ from animals in two important respects.

    a) only humans can shed tears and cry
    b) only humans can guide their behavior based upon concepts of morality (right/wrong) Unlike like them we can make moral choices.

Jacob had multiple wives! King David, had multiple wives. King Solomon had 700 wives, and 300 concubines. In the old testament, most people had multiple wives, and were reproducing left and right. The old testament is still the word of God, and we can’t disregard it. God said it himself, the earth will pass away, the heavens will pass away, but his words will remain forever. Is it really sinful, to live my life, like the forefathers in the Bible?

In the New testament, Jesus never said to be monogamous. He said, a man should join with his wife, and the two will become one. But, he never commanded us to be monogamous. A bishop, suppose to be monogamous.

Doesn’t matter. I’m much more concerned with keeping your commits to be monogamous, if you wish to, and proper consequences for breaking your commitments.

The whole question of whether or not humans are biological inclined towards monogamy sounds like an excuse for s~~~ty behavior. If she wants to be a slut, be a slut. If she wants to be a tradcon, be a tradcon. Just don’t try slut around and expect the benefits of monogamy, or pretend to be angel while you’re slutty around on the side.

    Ok. Then do it.

Not necessarily, though during the traditional era of 40s and 50s, monogamy was especially preached and celebrated in society.

I generally believe that men are more monogamous by nature (especially SIMPs and beta males). However, with the way women have changed, I’m sure this is just a relic of the past.

My two cents. The greatest thinkers of Christianity (St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas) both agree that polygamy is not contrary to natural law, but should only be undertaken for a serious reason. This is because there are potentially harmful effects of having many wives at once, namely, jealousy and discontent arising from competition and favoritism (I believe this is true: in my opinion, my sociopathy is largely the result of the blatant favoritism of my parents for some of my siblings. My other brother who received little love went completely off the wall).

That means polygamy would be acceptable for a pagan king or Old Testament patriarch who needed lots of male heirs to ensure the stability of his line. Aquinas did NOT believe polygamy was ever acceptable for Christians because Christ called them to a higher standard.

What I take from this is that polygamy is not inherently sinful, but also not ideal, and that Christians should avoid it entirely. To be clear, this is my opinion, and I’m not telling anyone here how to live their lives.

“Nature” doesn’t matter in this case. Women have changed. The strategies that worked for our ancestors are outdated.

We live in an unnatural world and women behave unnaturally … so we can’t expect men to behave naturally.

MGTOW: because you can (and should) say anything about a woman as long as she isn't within earshot
