So my dry spell is coming up on a year now, and I’m getting kinda antsy. I’ve never had a “casual hookup,” and it’s something I’ve always been interested in trying.

Enough guys have railed against OKCupid, PlentyofSluts, and the like, to tell me that I don’t want to try them.

I tried Tinder a year or so ago, but I quickly learned that the vast majority of girls there are there to just get free attention, and have zero intention of meeting with you.

Went to a club for the first time in my life about half a year ago, and it was exactly what I thought it was going to be. I asked the DJ if he had Beethoven; he did not have Beethoven. Therefore, not for me. Besides, I’m skeptical about the amount of actual hooking up that happens there. No one is honest about his club encounters.

I’ve also ruled out prostitutes for several reasons (from legal, moral, and financial perspectives).

So what there to do? Last night I found out about casual encounters on Craigslist, and I thought, hey, I live in a massive city, I have nothing to lose, why not give it a shot?

Has anyone ever ever tried it? What happened?

Like was written earlier. Absofcukinglutly, no Craigslist. You may get laid, but you may also get stabbed. Get a real pro. Remember the adage, you get what you pay for. It’s true. If you can’t afford it now, save up until you can. Like with a car, you’ll be glad you did.

Depending on where you live, and your comfort level with international travel and foreign languages. Research a few countries where “massage parlors”, are not only legal, but well organized. Netherlands, Colombia, and Brazil come to mind from my travels.

I haven’t visited Germany, long enough to recommend it, and I haven’t checked out Mexico yet. There’s Neveda, U.S.A., but I haven’t researched that in-depth yet either. Like with most things made in America, expect to pay more than south of the border. As with any investment, do your research though.
