Metal music has been a large part of my life for over eight years. It shaped who I am today, and even led me to certain experiences that have shown me the red pill is the right one to swallow. I’m curious about how many of my MGTOW brothers are also into metal, and if it’s had a similar impact on anyone else.
For those who know metal genres, my favorites are melodic death metal and metalcore. I listen to other genres as well. Some of my favorite bands are: Bullet for my Valentine, Killswitch Engage, Amon Amarth, The Unguided, I Killed the Prom Queen, Feed Her to the Sharks, Famous Last Words, Veil of Maya just to name a few.
A few red pill-themed songs I recommend:
“Don’t Need You” – Bullet for my Valentine
“Misery” – Feed Her to the Sharks
“Bleeding Mascara” – Atreyu
“Clarissa Never Explained This” – The ParamedicI’m always up for discovering new bands and offering more suggestions. Stay unc~~~ed \m/
I've had to learn lessons the hard way more times than I should. I've been very fortunate to find MGTOW when I did. Swallowing the Red Pill saved my future.
Sorry, I’m mostly classic rock, jazz, and folksongs. Metal is just too rough on my ears. But, if that’s your thing go for it. All music is cool.

I’m more of a classic metal myself, stuff like Metallica, disturbed and Iron Maiden.
“Up the irons.”
If you want a really good metal song check out The Vengeful One by disturbed, it’s bad ass.
Having a girlfriend is like owning a gun, the longer your around it, the more you want to shoot it.
I like Disturbed a lot actually. The Vengeful One is my favorite song on Immortalized. My other favorite song of theirs is Inside the Fire.

I do like a lot of music, and industrial metal is one of them. I listen to: KMFDM, Gravity Kills, Fear Factory, Pitchshifter, and a little bit of Slip Knot.
My favorite KMFDM songs are: Anarchy, Megalomaniac, Ultra, Juke-Joint Jezebel, and Blitzkrieg and Beast.
I also like movie and video game soundtracks, TV and movie theme songs and 80s music.

Anonymous14I am kind of like Stormtrooper, but maybe even more of the early stuff like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath…A younger group I like is The Sword, they have several albums already. I do not like most modern metal/doom metal, but The Sword has a throwback Black Sabbath feel to them, and they f~~~ing crush it every album.
I highly recommend Sabaton to anyone, not just a metalhead. They have consistently awesome songs. Allow me to post a few of my favorites here. I hope I’m not violating any rules against posting content promoting violence, as these songs certainly sing about it, however let me explain the context. Sabaton sings about history, whether it’s battles, whole wars, individuals. They look at what happened and tell it in a song, including the mistakes or victories made by either side. To illustrate how much I love this band, when I bought my new car I also purchased their newest CD to celebrate that fact. They really come up with some interesting sounds.
It seems the links didn’t post, I used the link button. I also can’t edit my post. Any suggestions?
I like a lot of it ranging from classic to current progressive. Devin Townsend, Gojira, Killswitch Engage, Dream Theater, old Queensryche, and a Swedish prog-metal band by the name of Evergrey are among my favorites.
