Hey, brothers. While I don’t have any assets or plan to marry within my lifetime, maybe some of the veterans here can recommend some ways to hide your assets before and during divorce. This could also serve as a marked thread to help others who may be going through or about to go through a divorce.

There are special financial people that work in the family court industry . Good luck with that , those f~~~ers live and breath in sucking cash from there victims and are more technically sophistacated than ever before . Shove ya cash in a mattress and never let a c~~~ know . You had a sneaky gambling habbit .

Unfortunately I don’t think there is any good way unless you have years and years to prepare for it. When you divorce you have to disclose everything and they have seen it all before, so if they think you are hiding money they will royally f~~~ you over.

I have read of people joining gamblers anonymous and hiding lots of money by claiming they gambled it away. If it was me and I had years of warning I would be buying gold using cash and hiding it away. An OZ of gold is currently around $1200 USD so you can see how you can easily hide away a lot of money if need be.

Unfortunately these days there is a paper trail of everything so the court are going to get very suspicious if they see large cash withdraws on your bank statement.

For women, everything eventually boils down to Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks.

If you do end up in court and it is found out your will get a nice ass f~~~ing.

But you can hide your lunch money..ha as my lawyer said.

I keep a nice safe…. Rolls of 50s in $1k rolls. Easy to count that way.

Bought a house once with it that way..the real estate agent s~~~ her pants.. took an hour to count it. ha.

Get into rental… about 15 years later… you slay the mortgage and you make ten to 15k a property a year.

But you have to front the money, go into debt and do it all.

    But worth it.

S~~~.. I live actually pretty cheap now..
    One apartment feeds me.
Another pays for my auto and s~~~.

Focus on killing your credit card debt and shut off cards.

Never raise your voice or swear at her..
    You are mr. cool.

That way you might get mediation.

    Stay out of court.

Thanks for the input and advice. I plan to get into real estate internationally myself, but I just need to get some money first.

do not hide assets. give cash freely. your ability to make more money is the only asset you can truly keep.

hiding s~~~, and getting caught will be a huge penalty. forensic accountants will kick yer ass.

Open a trust. A good financial advisor is as important as having a good tailor. Look up trusts and see which suits you best and set up a meeting with a good capital investment financial advisor. Like Edward Jones Capital Investment. Use the Google my friend. There are ways to hide assets and protect assets, you just have to do it years before you get married. Do it years before and never mention it to your wife or gf.

Another thing, always keep good records. If you buy furniture, KEEP THE RECEIPT. If you buy a house, and pay for it. Make sure it is in your name and never let her see the paperwork. If you own land, pay for it, and keep the deed safe and away from her. A lot of guys get screwed in court because they keep terrible records and don’t take care of things from their end. Don’t be that guy. Never do joint accounts with a woman. And when you buy expensive stuff, use your personal account and keep the paperwork. Keep all your paperwork in a safe and keep a copy of them in a safe deposit box and don’t tell anybody.

Take care of yourself early, and when divorce happens, you’ll be a happy man. The main point is, do this stuff years in advance. If you do it right before you get divorced a judge will look at that, laugh, and throw it out. Do this stuff early man. Make sure the house is in your name, the vehicles, keep receipts for furniture, appliances, and anything else you deem important. Hell keep the receipt for her engagement ring/wedding ring, and ask for it back in the divorce lol.

    Keep good records man.

in my divorce, my ex c~~~ hid about $6000. Judge F~~~wit scowled at the c~~~, then awarded all $6K to me. Half shoulda been mine, plus a $3K penalty. Fortunately, I had no assets as a stay at home dad…nothing to hide. lol

So bizarre in court, I was treated like the criminal but I had no assets, I stayed home with the kids and the judge wasn’t too keen on ordering the c~~~ to pay me maintenance while I went back to school. Her lawyer just assumed I was an asshole and all her questioning reflected that. No assets, nothing to hide, nothing to find. c~~~ spent $20K on a forensic accountant, found nothing. lol. no I take that back, she found a silver dollar coin in a piggy bank I had when my gramdma won it in Vegas in 1972, before the c~~~ was even born. C~~~ thought it was worth thousands of dollars…a quick internet search revealed it was worth $8. Judge F~~~wit was p~~~ed. P~~~ed that I had nothing or p~~~ed that the c~~~ was wasting everyone’s time. c~~~ spent $20K to find a silver dollar coin in my sock drawer. What the actual f~~~.

Of course the lawyer got the cash eventually, but you see the point.

Hide nothing, give it all up and move the f~~~ on. Go back to making cash.

It’s not like you are going to hide thousands of dollars from a spouse. Spouse knows roughly how much comes in, and roughly where it goes. Here it all is, take your half, now f~~~ off.

F~~~ I love reading this stuff. It reinforces the fact that I will never be getting married. My married friends complain about no sex and then there’s the financial crap you have to deal with. Any male who reads these forums and still wants to get married needs to get their head examined!

IMHO you can’t really protect major assets, ie 401(k), cars, house, IRAs and cash savings.

If you have time, you can start stockpiling cash in a safe place. I think this is least traceable and done in modest amounts can be done under the radar.

Here is my question: Does it make sense to rack up any debt of any sort? A thought that crossed my mind: Say you have a home you’ve been in for quite a while and have a lot of equity in. If you are planning to leave, would it be smart to buy a “rental” house, putting as little down on as possible? Then this becomes marital property (debt) and you will also have a place to live in when you leave that must be divided.

I’ve been smart with money and paid my house down a lot, while she has been an absolute f~~~ing financial retard and drain on $$. Why should I risk losing my house with all the equity and end up being in tiny apartment while she sits fat in the house I financed??

    Thoughts??

Unless you’re paid cash, no IRS involved and don’t bank it the answer is no. Always gonna be a paper trail. Very skilled guys out there that know every trick in the book to nail you.

    Peace is > piece.
