If I see a rapist.. I swear on my life that I will do absolutely nothing. Unless someone offers me some fantastic amount of money to jump in or the woman is my mother or grandmother, I will walk by and forget it faster than I noticed it.

As far as being a “man,” I would argue that my self-preservation being put before saving women that are not reproducing with me is as masculine as it gets. Me and my testosterone comes WAY before your women or children.

Are you serious? If I saw a rape in progress I could not stand by. This has nothing to do with white knighting. If the rapist is alone just shouting would most likely get him/her to run. If it is a group the least one could do is call the police.

I can understand that you do not want to endanger your life for strangers and that is fine with me but ignoring a crime is immoral.

Why would someone “stand up” for something against some crazy Jihadist that may injure or kill you in the process? How does that benefit a man going his own way? What? By saving a female that you aren’t banging? One that probably wouldn’t even tip you for doing so?

My feeling about MGTOW is that it is really, largely about ME.

It’s not about taking stupid risks for which there is no reward and its not about saving the day. It’s about expending my energy ONLY to get things for myself.

How many soldiers that “did the honorable” thing and lost limbs in the process probably can’t even get a hooker now?

True story – I was jogging one time and some woman (probably drunk) got her car mangled in signs and trees beside the road and, apparently, injured herself in the process. She was saying “I can’t move” or something like that. Another woman in an oncoming car stopped, saw me and asked indignantly “aren’t you going to help?” Nope I said. Me trying to move branches and Volkswagens is only going to get me injured OR possibly sued. Something will slip the wrong way and she’ll say it was my fault that some branch disfigured her. I finished my jog without losing any time.

Again. Shouting will call attention to me – possibly getting me injured or killed. No deal there.

Calling the police could possibly include me as a witness (again pointlessly endangering me) and/or get me mistakenly shot by the police themselves as they seem to do that kind of stuff a lot.

The logical part of my brain says stay out unless the situation is hitting close to home. The “moral” part of my brain has been suppressed along with the emotional part for my own well being.

I am not saying you should fight a jihadist. I would not do so myself but calling the police is not putting you in any more danger than you already are.

How would it benefit me? I’d have a clean conscience. Nobody expect you to put yourself in danger. Ok well that’s not true but I do not expect you to. I might not be likely to get raped but if I was in need of help I would want others to call the police or an ambulance or whatever is appropriate in the hypothetical situation.

I do onto others as I would want them to do onto me.

I called the police on a huge brawl once AFTER I was sure I was safely away from these nutters. Again you can do what you want but I could not act the same way.

There are no “long term” consequences for a man who has already been beheaded. There is no anything for that man. Physically interfering with a rape makes you a thankless hero at best and an unappreciated martyr at worst.

And I don’t “accept” it. In fact, I hate it. I hate every aspect of it – particularly the economic implications. But sacrificing myself for some woman does not help me. So, it shall not be done.

Yeah….I’ll sacrifice myself while I fund them with tax money and then fund their incarceration with more tax money and then fund their education with more tax money all the while I am fist fighting suicide bombers out in the street.

Yes. It would be. And it is called not letting them in – in the first place. Once you’ve let the lion inside the home, you’re on your own.
